Well @michaels and I have found that Elves are not very good when they roll 1s and get removed from the pitch very easily in case anyone was wondering.

And he is a much better player than me too of course

When you create a new team there is a checkbox, bottom left I believe for custom team.  Check that then you can add skills to your players.  You can't add star players, but in theory you could just create them from scratch, assuming you need 7 or less improvements rolls longer there.  Also they won't have loner.

If you're going to go AG4 you gotta go all in and go with AV7 too

That makes me happy.  I dont mind change necessarily but I haven't seena anything that makes me think GW has even the faintest clue when it comes to this game.

I think I'm going back to Vampires for this.  I'm not ruling out Wood Elves but I'm struggling to find a roster I like.

I keep forgetting to sign up but I am planning on being there.  I'll get it done by the end of the weekend for sure.
