  1. Well since you won't let me take Swoop, A3 Diving Tackle, #11 Gus the Destined +10k or A3 Catch, #11 Gus the Destined +10k
  2. Seriously? But No Hands was sitting right there! Incidentally, are those Traits an exception to the usual "must be a valid skill choice" rule?
  3. Quick questions about some of the possible results from the "Desperate Measures" inducement: Is the idea that I can use that re-roll on the failed roll that caused the Turnover, or that I bank it for later? It reads like the latter, but I'm not sure why it's tied to a turnover at all in that case. And that's a turnover for them, correct?
  4. Except for our knock-down, drag-out brawl, obviously
  5. Come for the buff to Really Stupid, stay for the buff to Projectile Vomit.
  6. Choice 1: G5, Pro, #1 Squeezewax Tartigrade, +40,000 Choice 2: S5, Strong Arm, #1 Squeezewax Tartigrade, +20,000 Sure Hands is tempting, but I can't quite bring myself to put it on an AV 6+ Stunty.
  7. If I get the opportunity, I promise I'll go for the most fun choice. The most fun choice is Block on one of my Trolls.
  8. Don't think so. Just don't confuse it with Safe Pair of Hands, which lets you choose which direction to drop the ball when you lose it.
  9. Oh, so why is there a Value Increase listing for Unavailable skill, with Mutations given as a specific example?
  10. Things are fast and loose down here, and sometimes you just gotta steal a chain off of a circus bear and give it to your Ogre
  11. So what do drafted skills cost in terms of TV? Is it flat, or different depending on whether I assign a Primary, Secondary, or normally-unavailable skill?
  12. Fans basically produce extra income after each game. They can go up and down naturally after games, too. Do skeletons have any more value in Sevens because there's no real LOS to drop the zombies on?
  13. Until the league actually starts, all I can do is scheme to maximize my chances of success with a joke team that I've never used before in a tabletop dice game that I've played like ten games of in my life
  14. That doesn't sound wrong, but on the other hand each successive Dedicated Fan is "ablative armor" for the lower numbers, ensuring that they stick around longer to give profit. I'm sure some Real Math (tm) could give me more information, but thinking about it, if I bought 5 extra Dedicated Fans for 100,000, the absolute worst result would be that over my first five games, I lose each match AND lose a fan factor each time. Over that period, the extra DF that I bought would still make me 75,000 gp (25+20+15+10+5) additional gold on top of the base that I'd be getting from the automatic 1 DF. If I make a few of the rolls to retain fans (which of course becomes more likely the fewer fans I have), then it seems pretty likely that the investment would at least pay for itself. Even if it didn't make a profit, at least it would even out my income stream and avoid treasury mishaps from hoarding money. (Obviously this is still not factoring in the possibility that I actually win any games.) What this is really hammering home to me is that if Dedicated Fans cost 10k instead of 20k, they're a VERY good deal.
  15. Serious question - what's the optimal amount of Dedicated Fans when they cost 20k each and you expect to lose every game? 🤔
  16. Make each figure prove their worth on the pitch before you honor them with paint
  17. That's what you think, I'm running four rerolls, eight Snotlings
  18. They'll be very good at crushing Titchy players, is all. Yeah, they're both available individually. You probably don't need Death Zone, either - the Sevens rules are short and I'm sure there will be copies around to reference.
  19. Please do not have high expectations of my hobby skills
  20. the Death Bed Friendlies - Snotlings These enthusiastic Daemons of Nurgle are just happy to be here - literally, given that most leagues maintain discriminatory rules requiring players to have "actual, objective, and verifiable physical existence on the material plane." Thanks to the looser bookkeeping in the Border Princes, this mob of Nurglings is finally leaving the Realm of Chaos for a chance to play games, make friends, and most importantly, have fun! They're chaperoned by (Lesser) Great Unclean Ones, who unfortunately have little interest in Blood Bowl, and are liable to be distracted by the entertaining antics of their adorable cousins.
  21. I think @jollyork meant to say LPs there, not SPPs; the first draft League rules he proposed gives bonus League Points for causing casualties that would normally have given you SPPs. It sounds like the skill gains will definitely be by the book (possibly with an additional "skill drafting" mechanic added on as well).
  22. Thanks, I think I can work with that
