Any folks out there played Stargrave yet? Anyone have the book and interested in trying a few games? Looks pretty fun and easier to get into than Infinity. Personally I don’t like the strict new kill team limitations on squad composition and multiple paywalls for new options as they release. I’ve seen a couple terrain crafting vids based on the Stargrave core missions - nice variety and probably pretty easy to modify for a narrative of some kind.

I have to run two errands before noon and may need to be somewhere by 4pm - so I will be by late to say hello but may not be able to game long. Discovering things take a lot longer after someone totals your car . . .

This is the upgrade sprue which will be raising the cost of the pathfinder kits by $15-20. It is without exaggeration all bits which both Pathfinder and Fire Warrior kits already have in surplus. The limiting factor in all Tau infantry kits is the number of torsos. There’s already lots of extra heads, pulse weapons, pistols, grenades, ammo cartridges, marker lights, various lenses & binocs, arms, antennas even extra crouching sniper legs. That rail-rifle sniper they keep using in ad photos is already in the existing $32 kit. And the part about building a few new Pathfinders is basically a lie. This also virtually guarantees the contents of the Chalnath box will not be worth the $170 price tag since the terrain is less than in the $130 starter. Just thought I’d give a heads up to folks who might be unfamiliar with Tau etc.

I plan to ask around this Thursday if folks will be coming out to game or already booked with Halloween events. I tend to post these Thursday game night threads on Fridays to give people plenty of notice.

Sure, or even 1500pts oob to give you some flexibility since we’ve all had the chance to increase our oob over time.
