4/14 Ordo Fanaticus Game Night at W.O.W. Thursday 4pm - 9pm

Location: 717 SE Main St. Portland OR 97214 (map) - Around the corner from Kokiyo Teriyaki and up the stairs. Cost to play games is $8 for Ordo Members, $3 for Ordo Warlord Champions, and FREE for Emperors! As always, your first Game Night is FREE!

If you're looking to game we will be here. Opting to lay low? Stay home and stay safe, we'll catch you next time.

THE MISSION

Games we play: All, with a focus on Warhammer 40k, Kill Team, Bloodbowl, Necromunda, board games and more.

While it is possible to find a pickup game at Game Night, it is much better to pre-arrange a game before coming down. New players are always welcome, feel free to stop by and check it out.

GAME NIGHT EXPECTATIONS

If the pandemic has taught us anything, it’s taught us we don’t need more stress in our lives. As a result, Ordo is expecting an even greater level of friendliness and fellowship at Game Night than our normal high expectations. Please be aware that as always, the Czar has the ability to ask a player to leave if the Czar feels it necessary. Games are meant to be enjoyed, so let’s have fun.

I just found this group and I am interested in dusting off some of my miniatures. I haven't played in ages but would love to set up a game at some point in the future. I play AoS and 40k.

Welcome to drop by. I am flexible in 40K if you need a match up and getting the 9th edition rule in. Shoot us a time so we can prep the board.

In the 'Modifying Characteristics" section on Page 55 of the Corebook, it specifies that "If an operative's APL is modified, it lasts until the end of its current or next activation (Whichever comes first)."

Dang! Sorry I missed this. Spring is always busy because my son has baseball what feels like 8 days a week. It does serious murder on my Warhammer schedule haha

Don’t know what your schedule is like this coming week but if my wife can take  our son to practice this Thursday I’m totally down. 

I still don’t know what I’m taking to the tournament- I was set on bringing a custom craftworld but the new dataslate is awesome for my thousand sons…

No worries I should be free Thursday. I'm doing a custom craftworld now but torn on the second trait. Warding runes gives you the good ulthwe traits 6++/5+++ so that's the main right there. Choices for the second trait for me now are the shooting while doing actions OR exploding 6's trait.

I went all in on shuriken and took the auto wounding 6s and shoot/action and even though I’ve only played a couple games I’ve been pretty happy with it so far. It does savage amounts of damage and allows me to still score my secondaries and any mission primary that requires actions. It’s also pretty resilient between aspect warrior/Walker/wave serpents invulns and strands of fate. My biggest concern is my not playing against enough factions with it yet. I did well into custodes and admech but I haven’t faced anything else yet. I think tau might give me a run for my money…

Yea I'm thinking sheer weight of dice with shiruken. I need the utility of shooting while doing actions more though. Also souped up a farseer skyrunner with the Phoenix gem and the 0 damage WL trait so I'm interested to see how it all works together
