spacemarinejunkie Posted July 21, 2014 Report Posted July 21, 2014 Rosemary and Co Series 33 brushes, sizes 0 thru 6 and... Winsor & Newton Series 7 Miniature brushes, sizes 0 thru 2. It was a bear to find Kolinsky sable here in the US because of the embargo so I had to go overseas. The last time I used Kolinsky I painted with the best control I've had so I'm looking forward to getting these. By the way these in total were only slightly more expensive, with overseas shipping, than the GW brush set. Going to be painting a bunch of Speed Freak orks and Word Bearers with these. ;) Quote
Uselesswizard Posted July 22, 2014 Report Posted July 22, 2014 Let us know how the Rosemary and Co brushes work out. I'm not a big fan of the short bristles on the W&N S7 miniature line, but I'd like to know how they compare to the Rosemary. Quote
splinx Posted July 22, 2014 Report Posted July 22, 2014 I have been using Rosemary and Co for the last couple of years and for their price they are absolutely fantastic! So good that I have stopped using my others including windsor and newton! The company is also fantastic and has superb customer service! Cant speak highly enough of these guys! Quote

Agreed, I have done business with them before and their brushes are every bit as good as the top brands and their customer service is great. I came across the company a few years ago and actually talked to one of the brush makers on the phone about my brushes. Her son actually paints minis and she knew what I needed. Quote
