  1. Not sure if I can do this here or not. Its been a long time since I posted on Ordo. I want to sell these for paypal funds. 40 for one 70 for both if I need to ship. I can do UPS Ground shipping for free with 3 business days prep time. If we can meet in person somewhere I'll do 35 for one 65 for both. Cash only in person. I live in downtown Seattle. Please contact me through here or kbeck9575@gmail.com if interested. I will provide my paypal payment email then. These are basically brand new still in the shrink wrap as listed in the description.
  2. This might be the first thing I buy from GW in years. I have been out of the game and only painting stuff occasionally for awhile now but I have enough minis to put together kill teams for Space Marines, Chaos, Orcs, and I believe Eldar if I can find them and maybe even Astra Militarum.
  3. So I'm seeing this is official now. Enworld had it as something that was a solid rumor. Has anyone heard anything inside about this? Was GW twisting the screws on Fantasy Flight like they twist the screws on everyone? I'm just curious. It's to bad because I had heard the games they put out were very good. Here is the story on Boardgamegeek. https://www.boardgamegeek.com/blogpost/57558/fantasy-flight-games-and-games-workshop-parting-wa
  4. Those colors don't do it justice though. Orange? I wouldn't copy the paint job.
  5. Good, I'm just starting to get the itch again and I don't need another set of rules.
  6. If they made the change to 40k I certainly wouldn't cringe at all. I am not very good remembering rules and having a lot less to remember would be a good thing for me. I also like the idea that they will be focusing on printing more models. If they keep the model price point where it is when the books go away all will be good with me.
  7. I have been out of the hobby for a while and just got to painting again on some old Khorne when I noticed the Age of Sigmar release under the GW Fantasy page. Circular bases for a Fantasy game? Is traditional Fantasy now dead to GW? If there is a thread that covers this please redirect. Thanks.
  8. Oh I know I can do it. I'd just use card and either glue it on or make the mold you are talking about. I've made pretty decent looking melta guns that way so the Khorne symbol should be a cinch. :)
  9. I am painting some of my Sanctified now and was wondering which shoulder pad symbol you guys thought looked the best. Here are the two entries on the Sanctified that I could find. http://warhammer40k.wikia.com/wiki/Sanctified,_The or http://wh40k.lexicanum.com/wiki/The_Sanctified#.VBoA6_ldV8E Both of these have the different versions of the chapter symbols. As for the armor I am doing the red and black version except for the helmet is not all black and I have black on the armor trim.
  10. I should know this but primer, regardless of color is the first thing you put on a miniature right? Colored primer just means it's taking two roles, primer and base coat.
  11. Is that like the instant putty that cool mini or not sells?
  12. I made a weapon last night and the green stuff still seems to be flexible. I grant that the piece, a melta gun, is tiny but should it be as bendable as it is or should it be harder when it's dry?
  13. Has anyone played this game. Is there a spot where you can use the cables to go around the whole of Columbia?
  14. I was sitting there explaining the hobby to this lady I work with and was getting through to some extent when she asked if gamers have girl friends. I almost got pissed. "Of course they do." I exclaimed. Some of them even play the game, most, if interested at all, tend to be more on the modeling and painting side of the hobby. I my self have only been around one or two ladies that actually played. Even in the big tournaments I've been to I haven't seen many women play the game." This seemed to appease her curiosity. Is it even worth it to explain the game to the uninitiated with their somewhat backwards attitude about gamers and the gaming we do?
  15. For the record, I got a shipped message just over two weeks from the date of purchase. I guess if they are making the bags as the orders come in this isn't a bad turn around time.
  16. Actually I was thinking the same thing. The only reason I did Forge over Mauler was the lack of high powered shooting in the army. I may go back to Mauler for the reasons you mention and I think it just fits my theme more.
  17. I'm not looking for a point total here, this is just the list I am putting together. I am going for theme here not tactics or the best use of points. You'll know what I mean if you know the Sanctified Army. Everything in the army is related either to Khorne or to Daemons. The Rhinos have the Daemon ability. I don't have the book in front of me so I can't remember what it's called. HQ Khorne Lord on a Juggernaut Daemon Prince TROOPS 8 Berserkers in a Chaos Rhino 8 Berserkers in a Chaos Rhino 8 Berserkers in a Chaos Rhino 10 Sanctified Space Marines in A Chaos Rhino with Powerfist Champion and two Melta guns 10 Sanctified Space Marines in A Chaos Rhino with Powerfist Champion and two Melta guns ELITES 10 Possessed FAST 2 Helldrakes with Baleflamers 6 Khorne Bikers HEAVY Chaos Land Raider Forgefiend with Ectoplasma Cannons Forgefiend with Ectoplasma Cannons I kind of want to go with Maulerfiends since my original goal was an assault based army but I made one sacrifice tactics and gave the army some more armor punch with the ectoplasma. What do you think? Can anyone make this better while still sticking with theme, Daemons and Khorne? P.S. I know that Predators are better for the points than the Forgefiends. I like how the fiends make the army look on the table, even at armor 12.
  18. Has anyone here bought a bag from battlefoam? How long did it take to get to you? I'm having a hard time getting a straight answer from them on this so I thought someone here might know how long it takes?
  19. Yes he does, he is in the ork codex bikerz entry as a side note. It has a couple rules for him as well.
  20. I was looking at the Forgeworld Ork Warboss on bike and started thinking Wazdakka. Do you think their model lives up to him?
  21. Are the Centurian devastators any better on the table than the standard dev squad? If there is a thread that talked about this I missed it. It's been awhile since I've been on here.
  22. Agreed, I have done business with them before and their brushes are every bit as good as the top brands and their customer service is great. I came across the company a few years ago and actually talked to one of the brush makers on the phone about my brushes. Her son actually paints minis and she knew what I needed.
  23. Rosemary and Co Series 33 brushes, sizes 0 thru 6 and... Winsor & Newton Series 7 Miniature brushes, sizes 0 thru 2. It was a bear to find Kolinsky sable here in the US because of the embargo so I had to go overseas. The last time I used Kolinsky I painted with the best control I've had so I'm looking forward to getting these. By the way these in total were only slightly more expensive, with overseas shipping, than the GW brush set. Going to be painting a bunch of Speed Freak orks and Word Bearers with these. ;)
  24. I bought the triple book set. I think it looks great but I hope the pages inside are all color and not black and white like previous editions. I saw that they are going to have an open deployment, you can use any models you want without restriction up to the point limit of the game, I think that could make the game a bit more fun. Now you are not restricted to any type of model! Playing the game with all the new combinations this rule could bring about should be interesting!
  25. I haven't put in to many words here for quite some time but if the rumor about sweeping assaults is true my Khorne army is going to have a good time. :)
