Guest
Weird thought. Pretty sure models in a transport are considered being where the transport are, in this edition. Techmarine in a rhino. Rhino moves base contact with damaged land raider. Techmarine should count as being in base contact with the rhino. Since rhino has firepoints, techmarine should be able to use the repair roll instead of firing his weapon out a fire point. I don't think there's a good fluff reason this doesn't work, but seems possible that the rules are opposed. Thoughts?
WestRider
This is another one that got dropped from the FAQs. The previous ruling was that he could only repair the Vehicle he was in, but it's now unclear. I'd probably go with that precedent just to be on the safe side. AbusePuppy
Yeah, you measure range from the hull of the vehicle, but I think that you could easily argue that base-to-base contact isn't the same thing as measuring range (otherwise if your transport Tank Shocked something, you would also be charging it?)
