If it's a weapon carried and fired via the model inside the transport, then the lack of fire points (or being open topped) will prevent it from firing. That said, if it isn't a weapon, rather an ability, the rules regarding it become murky. In example, a model with an effect that eminates as a radius effect will often be able to confer it beyond the vehicle's hull. There aren't many of these which can deal damage, but some do exist and those would be able to be used while inside a vehicle (unless stated otherwise). I will note, I'm not talking about psychic powers, as those have specific rules regarding fire points. Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
