Here are a few things we got wrong during the game:

 

mixing up characters and individuals - So I had a vamp on a dragon. I thought all characters had the individual rule. Well this is wrong. So my vamp would get bonus attacks if he hit a unit in the flank or rear, and units would get those if he were charged.

 

Also, individuals are much more mobile. I thought they were restricted to the two 90 degree pivots. But instead, they get a free 360 at the start of the move, and they get a free 360 in the shooting phase. Whoops.

 

Also, we didn't do cover right. I think I have a handle on it now. Shooting units on hills have a huge advantage.

 

We messed up and applied a long range modifier. Sorry NtK! :sad:

 

Oh and we did Wind Blast wrong. You don't move away from the caster, you move the opposite side in which the caster is in. So since your caster hit the flank of the reavers, they would have moved to the left as opposed to the slight angle. Not huge, and would have just cemented them being out of a charge arc, but could to know in the future.

 

Not too bad I think for our first game.
