JMGraham, generalripphook,

Command Post Bellingham has been quiet.

Did you guys go on radio silence?

Unfortunately, Eli (generalripphook) left to Missoula for university! As such, I'm left without a regular FoW opponent. I can only conclude that the cowardly Germans, faced with the might of the US Armored Infantry, realized that continued resistance was futile.

Have not done more than pass thru Bellingham, but my digital search turned up these game stores in your area.

Possible recruiting ground for new opponents.

Maybe you know all of them, but here they are anyway, in case one or more is not known to you:

  • 3 weeks later...

With no American forces showing up for several weeks, we are stuck waiting on the last battle of turn 3 (battle #3).

Since some players are turning their attention to preparing tournament army's, and/or play-testing them, I suggest choice of 2 options:

#1: suspend the campaign until after the fall tournament @ g g

#2: complete battle #3 next Thursday, with either Americans, or british proxy, and move on to turn 4.

If #2 not completed by next Thursday, then we are going with option 1, by default.

I am in favor of option #1:

We are keeping good records on the campaign so it's not like we can't pick it up later.  If someone still wants to do either of the other two, they can.

I like using this campaign as a nice filler for when we don't have anything currently going on, ie, preparing for a tournament, playing mid war or early war cause someone would prefer to play that for a while.  In the past, there has never been any guidance as to what to bring.  Now, if I don't have anything in pre-arranged, I can always do the campaign stuff.

I planned on playing these past couple of Thursdays but work had me going to the coast and then to seattle.  I don't foresee anything coming up this thursday and I have all the practice I need for my tourny army so I am bringing stuff for campaign or tourney.

Z,

thx 4 the update.

nw.

I will bring my canadians.

That is not my tournament list.

My tournament sappers are still being painted.

I could play either

1) a campaign battle or

2) help someone practice their tourny list.

I can prob throw together a 1945 pt LW Canadian Tank Company list before Thursday, in case someone needs an opponent for choice #2.

  • 2 weeks later...

If I was to guess...

1) some guys (any gals doing military miniatures?) will only do TY

2) some will only do WWII, and

3) some (like myself) will do multiple periods.

That last one is very dependent on who else is doing the same, budget and time. Since, covering multiple periods might take more of everything.
