It bugged me how i lost the game because my friend kept one unit of st9rmcasts off the board and right when he wouldnt have actually won anything he dropped the unit down and was like ok i win. Though the games I played soon after it released did include a few instances of sudden death,but no cheesy stuff there as we both were aware of what could and did happen. alindahl Posted June 28, 2016 Report Share Posted June 28, 2016 Like Threejacks said, the best way to get around it is to play comped games, or you can also play narrative scenarios. The Generals Handbook that's about to come out will also probably throw out the sudden death victory conditions for matched play. Another thing you can do is not play with that guy again haha.
