The Librarian goes into the big guard blob to give them a 4++ save and they just exist and shoot things or else fight them in melee. If the marines are modeled/painted Ravenguard, run your guardsman as Deliverance PDF. Black/Grey/Blue Camo with Raven on shoulder pads or something. fluger Posted August 12, 2016 Author Report Share Posted August 12, 2016 I actually already run my Guard as a PDF of a planet in the Forsarr sector: Livia III. It is a forgeworld of modest worth and the PDF of the planet have a strong association with both the Adeptus Mechanicus (my conscripts are modelled as tech thralls pressed into service, I used to run a 5 strong scout unit with some 3rd party ad mech models) and the Raven Guard. They are currently facing down the apocalyptic threat of Waaagh! Garaghak. Incidentally, the fluff for my Ork army is that it is part of Waaagh! Garaghak... I have always loved the Raven Guard, but never have I committed to buying them (almost did with the 6th ed rumors of scouting van guard vets). With the new Raven Guard rules, I've been itching to start getting some models. Props to you for hitting on the great idea of using the Deathwatch rules to bring in those sweet 30k Raven Guard snipers! :D Anyway, I'd love to scrape together some cash and get those Raven Guard minis as well as down the road bringing in some Ad Mech. Also, 40 points sounds like some 3++ for those Snipers. ;) Or level up that Libby. Although I don't see that doing you much good, all in all.
