Thursday Night Age of Sigmar

29 posts in this topic

I'd very much like to spearhead Thursday Night AoS.  Preferably at the clubhouse but Guardian would be OK.

Let's start with open play, and if we can get a solid core I'd like to put together some narrative events.  Maybe even AoS28 or Path to Glory if we can get a solid group.

Any takers?

I would be down. Although I am currently starting a Stormcast force, so I would have to start with small games for a while. But I also have a sizable dwarf army if you would like to go bigger. Also, what is the AoS28? I see it posted about a lot, but I don't know what it is.

AoS28 seems to be an offshoot of Inq28 for fantasy.  Think story driven rival warbands.

As far as game sizes I would think it's whatever folks agree on.  I'm in the 1000pts or so camp myself.

I might be able to make it on some Thursdays. I can play pretty much any size with my current army, I am totally fine with smaller game sizes.

When you say open play you usually mean no points.

Thursday and Friday nights are now pretty much available for me:)

Is wow available of Thursdays now?

If not im fine with GG too.

Path to Glory is cool and all that but rem it doesnt use points,so if people want to do it there would probably need to be a modified system for points added in.

I would probably pass on AoS28,,its yet another warband skirmish fanset,im sure its cool and all but I believe GW has indicated that they will be doing a Mordhiem reboot next year and im fine waiting for that.

So for the sake of both planning and getting this ball rolling, would someone like to do a 1,000 point battle on Thursday, April 6, 2017 @ 6 pm?

I can make it to Red Castle, WoW, or Guardian in that order of ease. :D

What serendipity that I found this thread at this moment! I new to the Ordo boards.

I'm just about to get into AoS as my 30k garagehammer buddy is heading out of the country.

I'd love to play a game or two before I commit to an army (probably shiny new Khorne or Tzeentch). Or even watch a couple games. Then I definitely want to get into a regular game.

I'd be down for Thursday at Red Castle. I live just a few blocks from it. Anybody want to an AoS newbie the ropes?

I'll be at Guardian Games this Thursday at 5:00 with 850 pts of Chaos Mortals or Orcs..  I'd love to met up with some folks then.

I could possibly be there at 6:00 with some toys..ill watch here and see if any others can make it too.

With 850 pts you could join forces with me and take on someone with a 2k list for a few rounds...its a great way to learn about the game if you are rather new to it:)

I'm going to try to stop in. Unfortunately I don't have any army yet. Some HQs are in the mail, but that the extent of it for the moment.

Let still try to pop in and say hey if anyone is playing.
