The first time using BattleScribe… I may go back to QuarterMaster … Typically I lay out the books - and write it up on paper.  But saw battle scribe and thought I would give it a try on the fly.  I have noticed that while it has everything … it doesn't adhere to any force rules...  unlike something like ArmyBuilder which I had used in the past.  Back to the drawing board with this.  Points wise - as I listed it is 2k on the nose ( even though not a correct FOC ) according to BattleScribe.

I was hoping to go with a Corsair list - but with 7th out…and waiting for direction on what OFCC will allow I figured I would just retool my wraithwall (its painted …except for the new items I picked up).  Hornets, WraithKnight at this point would be the only new needed to be painted.  I'd drop the Autarch altogether - and shift the wraithstone.  Dropping the scatter on the WraithKnight.  

Yes… the Hornets are only 80pts with pulse lasers.  

- I think I will look at a single FOC with the corsairs again… more painting but options are nice before settling on going back to the wraith wall.

have not yet… looks like it could be something we would like… but - to tell the truth I worry that the previews could be all the good stuff.  I don't want another Helix lol… (ie. not a waste of my time).

also… I always saw the comics as soap opera… I grew up with a mom that watched her "stories or shows"… and well - comics are exactly the same thing lol.  Really, the story goes just like an old serial - made up as they go along.  Sometimes they back track and bring back old characters at the whim of writers or in the case of comics some artists.  But really its not like its a well crafted novel.  - I like my "stories"… just like my mom.  :D

i'm happy about the new version…as I seem to have taken to long to learn 6th…and didn't buy that ed. book lol.  7th puts me back at square one yes… but not as far back as I was from the rest of you regular players :D

I am there every Wednesday, as it is blocks away from my house. I can confirm that most of the guys there are Fantasy only.

speaking of which… lol … well I am just south of wilsonville… off the Aurora/Hubbard cut-off.  It is really only 10/15 min drive up.

hmmm happy that I didn't pick up the 6th book yet… been learning from a copy… 

I am trying to wedge some time to pick up some games of 40k… Ancient Wonders is now the closest store to where I live (drive time 15 min tops).  Does anyone know when a good time to go there to play is?  Game nights for 40k or even league play?

hmmm well I have a Eldar Revenant… and a AC Scorpion (super heavy with 2 pulsars) …. dreaming of a AC phantom but thats not gunna happen this year.  

As far as a APOC game goes - I would want some really nice terrain (custom table) and some sort of narrative for the battle.  

What a great idea! A perfect Thursday or Friday event. If only we had someone willing to run the event... (hint hint)

hmmm well I guess it would depend on interest… and what kinda narrative to go with… etc.  For me… learning 6th.. learning the changes with Apoc in 6th lol.  Not against the idea about collaborating and seeing what we could do.  Who else is interested in some APOC at OFCC…?

are people actually planning on bringing titans or larger (apoc) war engines?  I mean  have some… but never considered bringing them to OFCC as part of the team event.  Now if there was a APOC event at OFCC … I would be all in lol

or any powders for that matter for the rust?  I have been known to use makeup at times myself if i just can't seem to find the right color.

In all seriousness - I am looking for a team for 40k OFCC.  I have captained in the past - but I have not interest in being a captain.  If anyone has an opening - or knows of a team needing a player to fill out a team let me know.  I will be playing Eldar - and probably a FW Corsair list… with FW goodies. … and an army that (time willing) will have not been to OFCC before (paint and composition).  :)

Hey - I will be wanting to play ELDAR - I have been to many OFCC's in the past and I am planning to attend this year - one problem … I need a team.  I am interested in joining a team… not being a team capt.  I am very unexperienced with the current rules - but I am hoping to get lots of games in before OFCC.  -- I can also possibly help your team paint and theme scores …
