They are rarely used. Most armies want a scroll. You need to have two mages to have use the scroll or stone. It is good for armies who want that mondo spell like Dwellers or Transmutation, but then, you are sensing points on a L2 and a L4.......

The Hammerer and the Max Mini Iron Breaker is done. The Scibor model is slowly taking form.

Thanks RD!  I too wonder about scenarios… is there a published list of the OFCC 2014 scenarios somewhere?  I only saw the "Open" rules pack.

Your list is fast and and very MSU. It will be hard to get points of out it. 

On the same note, it will not dominate in magic or shooting. 

I worry it may have issues with the scenarios, but the list is suited for OFCC.

Who wants to play all fighty Dwarfs?

I played NTK this week. He played well. I played not so well.

Deployment is to key with the lads. I put both gyros on one side. That was a mistake. It let his shades and Assassin run wild.

I have a real issue making my opponent fight my blocks. It is too easy for speed to my weaknesses in the list.  

After the loss, it just made me want to play more games to see if I can solve the riddle.

16 hammers? Seems like an odd amount any way to change that around?

I have an extra fourteen points. That is a Hammerer!

If you want good use out of the Iron Drakes, give them the banguard banner.

Painted my first HW and Shield Dwarf in years. It will go in the box as a Warrior, but could be used as a Hammerer (w/ a shield) in a pinch.

Next, I started another Hammerer. He is a metal model from a Spanish company I cannot remember the name of right now. I need to do the gold work on him, but he is almost done.

Finally, I made two more movement trays, 2x5 and a 1x5. They should be ready to spray tomorrow.

Wood Elves do not need casters if you rely on their speed and maneuverability..

Units of 5 Rangers are great diverters, march blockers, and vanguard checkers.

I like Slayer bump units.

Gyros are solid at 80 points.

Hammerers are a solid fighting unit.

Making units fighting stubborn and vanguard are solid choices.

Runesmiths are boons to units for their Armour Piercing ability.
