When has a Godzilla movie ever had a captivating story?

True, but what I meant was; I thought that Pacific Rim was an interesting fresh take on the whole "Giant Monsters" milieu. This Godzilla movie doesn't really bring anything new to the table. Which can be good or bad, depending on your tastes. 

Will try very hard to make it to this night. I'll bring a couple of board and card games and see what everyone else is up to.

The king of monsters returns.  Good solid movie.  I will say I liked Pacific Rim better from a monsters and action standpoint.  But this is a great movie and Godzilla looks awesome.  IMO his opponents, not as cool looking, but still very good.

 

Definitely worth seeing in the theater.  Did not see it in 3D so can't comment on that.

Agree with you 100%, Ando. I will add that just like Pacific Rim, this movie is best seen in 3D/IMAX. The story is just not captivating enough to keep your attention without the eye candy.

Here's a question wich book shall be use at Ofcc?

If it is May 24th and OFCC is late September...I would IMAGINE we'd be using the new edition.  That should be plenty of time.  

I can't speak for Bigtal, but Fluger is likely to be correct.

If you hadn't figured it out already, I am planning on attending GN next Tuesday. I'm planning on getting there around 3 and staying till closing. I will be bringing an assortment of quick play board/card games with me. Hoping there will be a few people interested in that.

Who else plans on stopping by?
