Who is planning on coming to Game Night next week? The PE campaign is having a makeup night, so if you missed a game, post here if you want an opponent. I know a lot of people are looking for Xwing games also. I'm thinking of attending, but I want to play board games, so if anyone else is interested in board games, let me know.

I wanted to let portland folks know that I am probably going to make it to Tuesday night (2/11) club at WoW. I will have the star mats hemmed and ready to sell for those who are interested. I would also very much like to play a pickup game of x-wing. Thx.
I would suggest posting about an Xwing game in that night's thread in the GN forum. I'll go ahead and start the thread now.

Happy Birthday to the man with the oft misspelled last name!

So, I missed the game, do I need to make this one up? If so, how?

Next week is the first make-up session. I think there are 5 players that need a make-up game, so show up then and play one of them. There may be a ringer available, if needed.
The regular PE campaign will resume the following week.

If I had to pick one, I'd pick LS8.

Sure. I am going to be bringing my nephew along and I need to have him home around 8:00 at the very latest. So I would need to make sure our game started and finished early enough to do that. Otherwise, sure!
Gotcha. How old is he?

Happy Birthday!

I am down for a non-league game of 40k and some X-Wing!
We may have uneven numbers for PE again; would you consider being a ringer if needed?

Now what if they've taken 3 years off...
Ditto my response above.

I will be there with a 2k SM list. If I end up being the attacker, I will make trims to fit any point level.

Thanks for listening! I'd had someone else mention a similar problem but thought I'd fixed it. What software did you use to listen, and was it downloaded or streamed from the website?
I downloaded an MP3 from your website and listened to it on an older PC (with XP) using the Windows Media Player.
I just tried the file on a newer PC (Vista) and listened to that section (minute 23 thru 25) with no problems.

Hey everyone, Episode 50: Marvelous Malifaux is waiting to grace your earholes! http://thedeploymentzone.com/episode-50-marvelous-malifaux/
Great! Just listened to the previous episode last night.

I sat down and listened to it last night. Interesting first episode; good to get some background info on you guys and the direction of the podcast. One thing I will note, it played for me just fine, up to about the 23rd/24th minute and then the sound stopped. Trying to click ahead in the podcast didn't do anything; it was still silent. I had to close the mp3 file, start it up again, and then click past that point to hear the rest of the podcast. I listened to 2 other podcasts as well and didn't have any problems with either of them, so I don't think it's my computer.

Even though I don't attend very often, I would prefer an earlier start time. 4 or 5 pm would be fine.

Due to uneven numbers, Rhuntar stepped in as a ringer and I played him.
Result: Win for Rhuntar (D), Loss for me (A).
Both Warlords were killed in the game. My Chaplain on a bike was finally killed after 5 rounds of close combat with a Slugga mob. His Warboss & squad tore thru 1 tactical squad and killed 2 Centurions, before finally dying to 4 krak missiles at close range.

Though we do...that is normally saved for a day that is actually for terrain...I would not suggest priming their on a night with lots of people...fumes and all...but that is my opinion.
Yes, I totally agree.

I'll be there with a 2k list for Planetary Empires. Planning on playing a regular game of 40k. Looking forward to a fun evening with everyone!

The OFCC is an official Ordo Fanaticus event.
That should settle the matter.

Jayne Mansfield's Car: 8.5/10
Great performances from some veteran actors (Robert Duvall, Billy Bob Thornton, Kevin Bacon, John Hurt) made the movie for me. Interesting story about 2 different families (1 Southern American, 1 English) coming together for a funeral.
Kickass 2: 7/10
Decent storyline, not half as interesting as the first one was, but OK for a rental. I wished it had more action sequences; it seemed like this one focused more on themes and character development than the first one.
The Lone Ranger: 7.5/10
This one was surprising to me. I was genuinely entertained by the movie, but had issues with the plot and characterization. Really thought they could have done better for such a classic hero, but I guess all big-budget popcorn movies end up being similar. Also, I feel like Tonto shouldn't have been portrayed so much as a buffoon and it should have been a Native American actor in the role.

Disruptive Conduct is spot on. As long as there were no problems with a captain or the team, he or she is always welcome to captain a team again.

This week's GN is just for makeup games anyway, so no problem there.
