I have attended the Enfilade event the past several years.  I always like FOW tourny events and will still plan on playing in this one as usual, but all the rest of activity at Enfilade makes me want to do other stuff as well.  Just wish FOW was a half day event.

A couple of us are also playing some games at Oregon City Geeks & Games on Tuesday nights as well.  If your looking into EW french, Lazarus & I have tanks, infantry, & support and we also have EW german stuff to go up against.  Just let us know when/where (Thurs at GG, or Tuesday at OC Geeks).

I Suck at bring my own lunch.  I usually don't have anything available to bring.  I will probably go get a shwarma so I prefer the 1 hour.

The main thing I noticed with the Team Yankee paints and Colors of War paints is that they use the same serial number even though they sometimes change the name, example:

TYP341 NATO Green = FWP341 Tankovy Green

So then, I just had to find the colors of war conversion charts to vallejo

Barca, are we meeting at GG tonight to hash out the rest of Turn 1 and begin Turn 2?  Lazarus was also wondering.  If you are getting busy for the holidays it's no problem, we are just wondering if it is worth making it to GG tonight.

I have the 325 glider infantry book, I also have a book about the 325 that's all letters home, correspondence, and diaries.

Gg is only open till 6pm tonight due to the weather

I did make in to the office with an american 1250 pt list.  Due to the weather, Just because I made it to Portland doesnt mean everybody else has to.  If conditions start getting worse, I'll just start heading home, but I will check this post throughout the day to see how everybody else is fairing.

OK, let's take a break, and thanksgiving is next week so that gives us a couple weeks to come up with ideas to do something thru the holidays till 2017 comes around.

Yes, especially greatful to Tim, Jon, & Richard as newcomer walk-ins helping to boost the numbers into more of a regular feel tournament, and thanks to all us regulars for helping these newcomers learn the ropes.  This was exactly the intent I had in mind for this event, something the 'oldguard' can enjoy and help share with new people to also enjoy and help keep the game alive.

I noticed that I forgot to put the start time.  It is the usual 11:00 am start time.  I will show up around 10:00 to start setting up tables.

Being that this is all vehicles, games should go quickly.  I am allowing about 1-1/2 hours for each session which can be shortened if all games are done quickly.  I am planning on a 45min lunch break between games 1 & 2 and about 20 minutes between games 2 & 3 unless everybody wants to jump straight to the last game.

Again this is an event more than it is a competition. Prizes are small but numerous.  I did put in some of time & skill and painted up some of the prize stuff to help make it better,

Yes I will be there & go to GG tonight.  

I remembered this morning to repack my game box so that I have 1500 LW tanksgiving stuff in it.

Thank you Washington Players for the games and for making this happen, I enjoyed it.

On a side note, there was some serious discussion about what I think were some advanced and complex rules.  I have been asking BF forums about their opinions, haven't heard back from any actual Battlefront staff but here is some of the findings. 

List specific rules do Clown the standard rulebook.

Example:

A list that states specifically how to deply certain units happens before the mission states half-on / half-off. So, if you are running 6 platoons and 2 of which get deployed by your list specific rules, you deploy them per your rules. The remaining 4 platoons are then deployed as normal, thus putting only 2 platoons in reserve.

Another thing I am still trying to find out is the effect of night-time on Airborne/Glider insertions.
