My goodies arrived today and were waiting for me in my game room. Assembly starts soon. 

Ooh, I like that list a lot. It has some fun toys. My new stuff should arrive tomorrow so hopefully I will have them built by next weekend.

I could get the Spitfire Myrm by dropping the Myrm Officer; lower cost at 31 vs 35 and same SWC. Is that a better choice?

The Thorakites are where most of the cheap specialists are. I plan to add a F.O. and Paramedic (when I'm not running Machaon). Plus these are my cheaper troops. Adding in Thorakites I can get a second combat group. Also Dactyls bring cheap hackers and engineers. So there going to be added sometime soon. 

How should I field the Enomotarchos teams?

Group1: Hector, Machaon, and 2 Myrmadons with Chain rifles. 

Group 2: Phoenix, Myrmadon Officer, 1 Myrm Chain rifle, and Myrm Hacker. 

This is how I was thinking about running them. Is this good or am I missing some other combo? I'd rather not run the Hacker in the group but it will have to do for now. 

I have the basic Steel Phalanx boxset coming.  It has 3 Thorakites, the Myrmadon Hacker, Agema Missile Launcher and Eudorous.  I also ordered up some robits - the Total Reaction HMG and Guided Missile bots.  Also coming are Dracos and Scylla with their flame thrower Devabots. Lastly Atlanta the mighty sniper is also coming. I think that is all that I ordered for now.  I need to find the Dire Foes Mission Pack #2 that has Thrasmeydes in it.  He will make a great addition and I can also use him as my Spec Ops.

I am still awaiting my new figs from Miniature Market.  In the mean time, here is a list that I wish to try out.  Light on button pushing but without Thorakites I am limited...

Weather report for next weekend shows 92 on Sat and 95 on Sun. Thoughts about gaming?  Too hot?

I am not going to make it tonight. Got to finish some house projects before the end of the world tomorrow!

I am looking for Infinity Aleph Steel Phalanx Myrmidons and Thorakite figs. Unassembled and unpainted preferred but will consider others depending on condition. I have most of the characters so I am not really looking for those. Please let me know what you have and what you want for them. 

I should be there. Maybe someone can actually teach me how to play this damn game!  ?

Well the only tragedy tonight was my horrible game play. Half of my force died on turn one in my deployment zone but they looked good doing it.  I love the look of the Steel Phalanx. I have more figs on the way in the hopes to flush out my force. 

Thanks for that info. Actually I was looking for more of today's car especially work or semi trucks. 

Anyone know a good scale or model company that makes car and trucks in scale (or close enough) with infinity figures?

I must admit, I really had fun taking control of your TAG and shooting Dr Wurm!  Since you disabled my TAG wanna be.

Last Saturday I took my YuJing ISS to Glimpses for an Infinity Tournament. Pretty small turnout with only 4 players but it was a good event. I learned a ton. I really need to play at the 300pt level more often.  It was hard transitioning from all of OFCC 200pt games that we played. I found myself playing way too slowly. All things considered I took 3rd place. Not sure how I managed that small miracle but yeah!

Does this event require fully painted?

It's for another project not GW related. I'll have to look at the start collecting box. 

I am looking to build a hover platform for a model to stand on. It needs to be high tech looking. I was thinking something like what's in the Tau Coalition box or similar to the Tau drones. It should be between 25-30mm in size. Anyone have any bits or ideas that might work?

Okay, so day 2 is now in the history books. I really had a great time. Lost every single one of my games. Had fun getting my arse handed to me though. I think for me that this was the best OFCC. I was not a captain - thank God! I did not have to heard cats, wipe people noses, worry about who was having or not having a good time, who was playing nice with others and who wasn't, who was going to show on time or be late to their games and finally who was drunk. All I had to do was make sure I was good to go and boy was that refreshing. I'm tired but satisfied...

Now it's time to plan for next year. Do I start a new force because that is what I do or do I add JSA to my YuJing? Oh the dilemma.
