  1. Err, I shouldn't be listed on the Axis side, and certainly not Germans. Unless they're using captured IS-2s As I said, I'm bringing Soviets. If you want to balance the sides and have Soviet stuff on on the Axis, I'm ok with that. Just wanted to point out you've got me listed wrong.
  2. Unfortunately, that's the weekend of GenCon. I'll be off in Indianapolis that weekend. And ... I agree with Mark. An artificial limit on order dice doesn't really make a lot of sense. Especially one as arbitrary as "10".
  3. Awesome. Sign me up for a Soviet Guards Heavy Tank list. IS-2s or IS-85s, its been a while so I'll need to relook at the lists for them.
  4. I'd love to give early war a try. I haven't started building my Dutch army yet, but I might do so if this is a go.
  5. I've got Soviets and a KV-2, which is a massive beast on the table. I just haven't had time for any regularity in playing miniatures, but I can usually find some time for occasional tournaments and 1-off game nights.
  6. I recently picked up a great "board game" that is co-op: Shadowrift It is actually a co-op deckbuilding card game, similar to Dominion. Only, it has a lot more theme and is co-op. My wife and I have played it two player and is a lot of fun. It *can* be difficult with only 2 players, though. Some of the monster decks are pretty tough (it comes with 8 monster decks, I think, and we've played against 3 of them so far). We've been thinking of playing two hands each, but haven't tried that yet. Pandemic is good with 2 players. So is Eldritch Horror, and isn't quite as long as Arkham Horror (Arkham Horror is good 2-player as well) Sentinels of the Multi-verse is good 2-player, but there is a minimum of 3 heroes, so either one or both of you will need to play a second hero. My wife and I typically play 2 heroes each, alternating hero turns (mine, hers, mine, hers, for example), and it works just fine.
  7. Ooo, I haven't played FOW in a while either, but would be willing to play. Unfortunately, the only Soviets I have are a few infantry and IS-2s, which won't work for mid-war unless I can proxy them as other tanks. Maybe if I proxy my US para figures as soviet infantry I could bring something.
  8. I never got to like playing light tanks. Too twitchy for me. I personally prefer heavy tanks and TDs, either brawling or sniping.
  9. I'd agree that the 22nd is probably better for me.
  10. I'm still playing the PC version. Just don't see playing on the XBox when I'm already pretty established on the PC. Finally got my E75, which makes 3 tier 9 tanks now. I've unlocked two tier 10's (the IS-4 and Obj268). I don't have the credits to buy either of them, though.
  11. I could probably do the occasional Thursday night. Of note, Beer & Pizza night is starting up again on Jan 16th (Thursday), to keep in mind for any planned Thursday night gaming.
