It was fun the times I played it.  Frostgrave might be a more updated game for the same basic outcome.  Plus Frost Grave can really represent any race.  

Is there a Frostgrave video game for PC as well?

I got mordhiem off of steam and my painting has been suffering!!

I've been playing the Final Fantasy X remaster on my PS4. It's basically stopped productivity.

Is Mordheim worth getting?

I'm almost finished building all the stuff I have left to paint.

This is exactly why I've been putting off the 40 infantry I have to paint. I'm fine painting armor and aliens but hate painting humans.

Last year I painted 50% of my army in a single day while watching every Lord of the Rings extended edition film back to back... Let's hope I don't have to do that again!

So I have my work cut out for me :) Good thing I sent the wife out of town...

That's not a bad way to guarantee some painting time! I just found out that I have some "use or lose" vacation days that expire in September, so I might take a couple days off prior to OFCC to get everything done!

That's why a blog of shame helps.

Who else has an overwhelming amount of painting to get done for OFCC?

I have left to paint:

30 Valhallans

10 Scions

3 Chimeras (at least they're drybrushed)

Rivets and minor details on: Baneblade, Valkyrie, and 3 Sentinels

(it actually doesn't sound that bad now that I have it typed out, that's roughly 1 squad, 1 chimera, and details on 1 unit per week)

This happens to me every year for OFCC, but I can still never get it done early!

Has there been any leaked stuff for Empire or Wood Elves? I looked around but couldn't find any. Everyone's making lists and I feel left out lol.

@ Chexmix I don't really need the spider riders but definitely am interested in the spearchukkas.

Well I only have the riders, if you put them on 25mm bases they're goblins with spears and shields! They have flat bottoms so they're easy to put on bases and it'd be a great way to boost your numbers. If you're only looking for Night Goblins though I understand.

Shoot me a text and we can work something out! I'm sure you've got some IG or other 40k stuff I could use.

I have two metal Spearchukkas and crew, primed white. I also have about 60 Forest Goblins from Skull Pass Spider Riders.

Are sober people allowed to view this debauchery?

Of course! I have 5 decks so people who don't bring any cards are welcome to borrow one and join the fray. These decks are pretty advanced so I'd only recommend playing if you have a firm grasp of the rules.

I will probably be half cut by the time the evening roles around but otherwise i would defiantly bring one of my EDH decks and throw down some cards. 

That'd be awesome if you can play! As I mentioned above, I always like playing against new people and new decks. My normal EDH games are played against the same 4 people so it gets rather... stale, lol.

Plus there are some good drinking game rules for Commander that I have yet to try...

Well we're planning on getting drunk and playing EDH on Friday and possibly Saturday night. It won't be anything scheduled or organized though, we just like playing with new people.

I have a bunch of Battle for Skull Pass Spider Riders, about 40 I think. How many do you need? I'd be happy to sell or to trade for Chaos/Nids depending on what you have.

Is anyone interested in playing some EDH on Friday or Saturday night? My brother and I will be bringing several decks and are hoping to find a couple multiplayer games.

I'll check tonight, I might have 2 of the new sheets in my leftover Tau stuff. If I do I can mail them down to you.

I'd like to point out to Chexmix that he's played about as many games of 40K this year as my dog has. So it should come as no great surprise when Chexmix is howling mournfully into the wind after I put him down.

The title says EDH, which is a format of Magic: The Gathering. It's also known as Commander.

I hope I play against this at OFCC. It's a fantastic looking army so far.

That's good to hear! I was considering that perk until your recent post. Now I'll think about it a bit more. My character is definitely not bash focused but I like to have it as an option.

Thanks for the tips! I'm really impressed with how much stuff there is to do in this game. I wish I had the time to explore it all!

I'm playing on console too (PS4) and I have the local leader perk. Resident space must be the issue.

Oh well, I play this game for the exploration and combat aspects... not for Minecraft
