Not sure if anyone else here is a Baldur's Gate fan, but Beamdog released an expansion to Baldur's Gate: Enhanced Edition last week. It's designed to bridge the gap between Baldur's Gate 1 and 2.
So of course I started a new game on BG1 to play through the whole series again. Never played a Wild Mage, which is a new class to the Enhanced Edition... Sounds like fun!
Any other Baldur's Gate fans?

Ahh, of course.

...What is FLG?

Can't you take the Genestealer Cult as a CAD? I'd do something like:

I only have experience with the Frontline Gaming FAT mats, and I own 3 of them. I think they are of fantastic quality and well worth the money. I'm not sure where "local" is to you, Bro G, but OCC in Lacey and Game Matrix in Tacoma both carry FAT mats. Buying locally is recommended as I think they charge $17 to ship the things.

I'm looking to buy 2 Leman Russ Punisher gatling cannons. I'm in Olympia so I will also pay for shipping if you're not local.
I'd prefer to buy but will trade instead if you're looking for some hard-to-find bits (I have a lot of stuff).
Thanks!

It doesn't say that you have to have a Transport for each Unit. It says that you have to have sufficient Transport Capacity for everyone. That's a different story. So if you've got a 5-man Pack of Grey Hunters in a Rhino, and then a 5-man Pack of Wolf Scouts, you're fine.
This is how I read it as well.

Looking good!

I also like the door on the right.

- Eldar, in general

One, mild list-building critique that I would give is give the devastator's drop pod to the Venerable dread instead. He needs it more.
But then what hangs off the back of the Stormraven? The Dreadnought would be better in the Pod, but it'd be cooler in the Stormraven.

Looks like a good, fun list!
-
You have a squad of Devastators with Heavy Bolters. It's not a 3.
The list looks good to me. It has all sorts of options without being too one-sided. It won't cause unbalanced games. I like it!
-
Thoughts on putting heavy flamers on the Leman Russ BTs for the hull sponson? Snap-firing the heavy bolter seems silly, and having something to clear out close combat threats might be useful.
Anyone do this before?
I've been giving my LRBTs Heavy Flamers for a while now, and I really like the utility it offers. A single snap firing Heavy Bolter doesn't add much. You won't use the Heavy Flamer often but when you do it really shines.

I like the "Team Banner" and "Bring something for your opponents" ideas. Themed armies and displays are always awesome as well.
-
Yeah, it's the team event. Just take all coptas, deffkoptas and flyers.
I would love to play against this.

Hey Ordo, I'm looking for the following:
-2 Imperial Guard/Astra Militarum Chimeras. Prefer unpainted or primed but will consider models in any condition.
-3 Leman Russ Exterminator turret bits (the double-barreled Autocannon).
-2 Valkyrie Multiple Rocket Pods
-1 Valkyrie Multi-Laser
-2 Valkyrie Heavy Bolter Sponsons
-5 Tempestus Scions or Stormtroopers/Kasrkin
I have:
-3 Eldar Warwalkers (metal, primed)
-2 CSM Hellbrutes (Dark Vengeance, basecoated)
-10 Ratlings
-10 Wild Riders/ Sisters of the Thorn (NIB)
-New Wood Elves (Wardancers, Glade Guard, Glade Riders, etc... ask!)
-OOP Wood Elves (Metal Dragon, metal Warhawk Riders & Glade Riders, Metal Dryads & Treemen)
-2 LotR Great Eagles (plastic, unpainted)
-TONS of BFSP Spider Riders
-OOP Empire, Bretonnia, & Lizardmen
-Standard format MTG staples (Dragonlord Ojutai, Siege Rhino, Thunderbreak Regent, Crackling Doom, Thought-Knot Seer... lots of stuff from different decks. No fetches for trade)
-Lots of 40k bits for SM, SW, BA, IG, Eldar, Tau, and CSM
-Paypal
I'm in Olympia but will pay for shipping if I'm buying models or bits.
Thanks for looking!

Valhallans it is! I'll just make sure I get paired with armies that can take on some armor. Ironically my list has a tough time with AV14. I have 4 Meltaguns and 2 templates from the Baneblade, that should be enough.
Thanks for the feedback everyone!
-
Your cons seem more like pros to me!
My team is already full unfortunately. Best of luck in finding a team.
-
Well that makes me feel a bit better. I think I'll leave it as-is with only some wargear changes. I'm captaining a team again this year so I'll have a direct interaction with matchups.

...and games will end up being lopsided.
This was my worry. I know my past OFCC lists could deal with mass AV14 but many of my opponents would not be able to. I might change up the list to drop some armor - but then I can't take the cool formation :(

Thanks for the analysis, AP. My worry was having 18 HP of AV14. I know it's not a tournament list but it could be tough for some armies to crack due to the large quantity of armor.
Farsight, the bodyguard, the Commander, the Riptide, and the Broadside are modeled after The Eight which is why they have such unusual equipment. I tried to make the real Eight formation work but I couldn't within 2,000 points.
I think I might take the Astra Militarum. It's half painted which is a good start, and it's the army I wanted to take to OFCC last year but couldn't get painted in time. Plus VALHALLANS ARE AWESOME.
EDIT: For those who aren't familiar with it, here are the rules for the Battlegroup Hammerblow formation:
Advance and Hold: All Infantry units in Battlegroup Hammerblow have the Objective Secure and Stubborn special rules. Close Range Fire Support: All weapons fired by Battlegroup Hammerblow’s Baneblade and Leman Russ Squadrons have the Twin-Linked special rule as long as the target unit is within 12” of another unit from this formation. Rapid Response: Battlegroup Hammerblow units of Militarium Tempestus Scions must begin the game embarked upon the Valkyrie. Instead of making a normal reserve roll for the formation’s Valkyrie must enter from Deep Strike Reserve, and doesn’t scatter if placed within 12” of this Battlegroup’s Scout Sentinel Squadron.

I'm torn between 3 different lists for OFCC. I'm aiming for a 2 on each of these but the Astra Militarum list is probably a 3 due to the Baneblade and mass armor. What would you guys want play against?

Marshall Johnson (aka Monkeyhaus) was a former Ordo Senator who passed away a few days after the first 40k OFCC in 2005. He was a fun guy and enjoyable opponent, who could have a great time playing a game whether or not he was winning. The Ordo Senate renamed the Best Sportsmanship award in his honor.
Thank you for explaining.

It looks sharper, sounds better, and has a refined UI. Plus there's added content, such as new character classes and recruitable NPCs.
I think it was a worthy purchase based on not needing to swap between 6 discs though lol.
