Cool! Where do you order GW from for 20-30% off?

I'm so confused right now... So I can just take my whole minotaur collection, call them all Doombulls, grab a bunch of bretonnian knights (call them all Lords while I'm at it) and that's my army? I have an army of 30 Doombulls and 100 Bretonnian Lords... what the heck is going on?

Can anyone make sense of the Sudden Death victory points? It looks like if you choose to kill a certain unit or hero for a sudden death win, the other guy gets to pick who that is. Therefore, you finish placing models. I just keep going, and going.... and going, until I run out of space. Then you pick Assasinate or Blunt. I then pick a relatively tough unit (and I should have a wide selection of tough units to choose from) that just stays in my back field all day while I swarm you with everything else? This would be particularly ugly with a shooting heavy army because they can concentrate their attack easily. I doubt anyone actually owns five hundred wood elf archers... but if they do, how do you win?

The Bullgor Stampede brings me enormous joy. It does look like everything's about combining heros/units for the rerolls though. My other impression was that nearly every unit is here - therefore, it really does seems like this is the next stage of Warhammer.

Right on, thanks guys. I was thinking of putting it in an 1850 army so it sounds like that shouldn't be an issue. The issue then would be the painting... they are a little large... It will be mixing with Grey Knights so I was planning on using the Knight Paladin with double-fire battle cannon with the roof autocannon to compliment the GK normal lacks (long range ordinance and AA). Should I drop the close combat capability entirely and go with the type that's got two arm guns (Warden?).

Is there a general consensus in your groups as to what points level it's "fair" to take an imperial knight ally? For example, I'm working on a Grey Knights army and I'd like to include the Knight Paladin - 1700pts, 1850, 2000 - what points level would it be reasonable for the other guy to have enough anti-armour?

Snuggles looks awesome! I also like how the standard bearer is prepared with a big hoop for him to jump through. Khorne at the big tent!

6th edition was the best... right up to the skaven release. They spoiled it then 7th came and vampire counts started some serious escalation . Basicially, there was a 3-4 year sweet spot where everything was rainbows (unless you played dark elves... but they got their time in the sun). I think Sigmar's looking pretty cool because it always takes me 10+ hours just to paint a single model anyways. I haven't played a game in a years but I'm looking forward to Saturday!
