  1. I would also stray from the FOW point levels. 1700 for a tournament is highly annoying because of the sheer volume in models people field. It really slows the play down quite a bit. I would vote for 1300-1500 for a spectrum. Go speed chess style in 90 minutes with 5 minutes to set up and start dice rolling. However, I will support th group on the decision. If we end up playing 2700 points on three hours...I probably would do that too because I can game.
  2. I will plan to join. I would link to the Facebook thread: Flames of war for Eastern Washington & North Idaho. There are about 65 people there with 15 very active posting people. I think we could do some discussion FOW, Team Yankee at 15/6 mm and other possibilities. I bet we could get something together.
  3. Location: Could we do something with the legion or FOW in like Centralia? The names says everything toward combining our groups. I will be willing to go to Vancouver/Portland if the group desires. Avoid Labor Day, heavy family travel time usually leads to poor turnouts Period: Go late or early. We just finished MW and the other two sound very fun. EW is harder to pull off because people tend not to have solid lists unless we did some escalation work. Theme: They are fun, but are way more effective to local groups. Multiple populations being threaded tends to murky up themes because people are not necessarily connected to your desires.
  4. It was a great demo, I think the two guys from the Roseburg area were really interested in the micro stuff.
  5. Team, I had a great time in the tournament and look forward to our next run in May 2017. Thanks to all for who put this on, those who supported the organizers and those who made the arduous drive from Spokane and points all across Oregon.
  6. Wow...that dude is the Source on battle orders.
  7. I found the below web source when doing research on Operation Torch. Just about every order of battle for every major power in WWII from 1939 to 1945. Plus maps and other tid bits for free. http://www.niehorster.org/index.htm Hopefully this is of use and I am not just dropping something everyone knows about already.
