I decided to hit the Seattle Regional, and would love some practice games.. I can meet at Guardian, or Dice Age Games (prefer the later)

Too bad there is nowhere half way between sea/pdx for tournaments. i should be able to participate in a tourney in June or later

my army is being built from scratch, i have not even sculpted all the models

I will try and make whatever I can, and I can mix it up. I certainly can not do every weekend, so even some weeknight action would be great.

I will be there from 4:30 on.. I have a couple 500 point lists from other armies, using old models that can be used for demo games which take about 30 minutes if you have played WHFB, or about 40 if you haven't I will also have the bases for my undead army if you are looking for 1500 to 2000 -

What is the tournament schedule up in WA... If I am able, and if I cna at least get some minis on trays.. I will try and make it. I am going to try running demo games in the Vancouver/Portland Area to drive up some interest, I just don't know the best avenues to market it at this point.

The future of US Masters

So what is the state of the Masters in PacNW.. not much on masters web site either. -
I recently moved to the PacNW, but my impression has been that KoW has won over the majority of fantasy players, except up here. Most of my friends who I gamed with in my "hay day" were from all over the country and the large majority quickly converted to KoW. It may be a function of tournament focus on faster games. The danger of fan rules (9th age) is that house rules spring up, and you can not find consistency between gaming groups/regions.

Reposting from KoW thread... Many people have expressed interest in learning Kings of War. I will have sample lists and armies in various stages of development that can be played in 40 minutes, even with all the teaching, much less than that if you are familiar with the rules, or are an experienced WHFB player.

One of the biggest allures for me for Mantic is Not using their minis... So many cool mini lines and unique themes that can be built by not focusing on their models
