So I finally learned how your suppose to use those grappling hooks you can buy for Reivers so when you deep strike you have to be 9” way. Base to base. So vertical distances count. now the grappling hook allows you to ignore vertical distance when moving or charging. So basically if you deepstrike on to a building that’s say 6” high and the enemy is say 3 “ from buildings base your good. But they you could charge them, ignor vertical distance, and only have to make a 3” charge.

This. LoW are very much part of the game. 8th is very well balanced now when it comes to LoW. There is very much a Rock Paper Scissors with them. They are extremely powerful. But with now even a lasgun being able to wound (though rare) a risk to field one. Sinking so many ppints into one target brings not getting first turn even more negative. ive had a Shadowsword rock for me, I’ve also lost it round 1 without it firing a shot.

Howdy! Well on sundays and Tuesday’s we have game night at the club house, though it may be alittle hard to get a game right now as a new league kicked off on Sunday so everyone will already have matches to play, but still post and see what you get! Guardian Games has a 40k League night on Wednesday’s, easy to join up anytime, it was packed last Wednesday. Red Castle has 40k throw downs on Saturdays. I know there’s other stores too but someone else will need to chime in on those as I don’t frequent them unfortunately Dice Age in Vancouver is a great store too but usually want to line up a game ahead of time
