Broke out my JSA to see who would reign supreme against Dahshat! Another remote game on the mountain table.

Another remote game, Svalarheima versus White Banner, playing Rescue. We thought it'd be fun if the ice forces were rescuing people... then the narrative got a little silly. Good game though!

More remote gaming, this time Yu Jing versus ForCo. Really this exercise has been more about remote gaming, table testing, with the added complication of limited insertion... I definitely feel like I've lost focus or my edge or something...

Here's another report, also remote, against White_Lang. He's only a 10 minute drive away, but we're doing the quarantine thing! Not the most representative report for Svalarheima, but it's another data point.

I had planned for this month to be about impetuous models, but I imagine getting games in is difficult for many of us now, so why not paint some impetuous models?

First remote game of physical infinity, complete! Thanks to Obadiah Hampton for being my guinea pig and a great sport! Sval versus White Banner in Frostbyte!

This will be the last tournament report for awhile for hopefully obvious reasons. I hope everyone reading this is well!

I plan on doing some remote gaming so hopefully I can keep these up.- 1

Yep! 🙂
More seriously though, I think the three I suggested are a good mix of:
- Relaxing list constraints
- Providing some interesting goals to accomplish
- Lots of good learning opportunities
Really the issue is I'm just not a huge fan of the the killy missions, I personally find them kinda boring.

Played a great game of Show of Force on a new configuration of my big Ariadna table. I'm pretty excited about it! PanO versus IA, check it out!

It's March! Time to get your split burst on! Send in your thoughts and experiences on splitting burst to report@bromadacademy.com for a chance to win a blister or Bromad Academy patch!
Mission 019 - Split Burst -
The dance of the duos is over with the end of Feb! We had four respondents and two full battle reports! Check them out below:

It feels like a long time since I've put my Yu Jing on the table, and I wanted to play with some ISS stuff. I prepped a list for Supplies but ended up playing a CHA + Scarface list in Show of Force with SoF active... Gotta be prepared!

Bummer. I'm going to be out most of March, but Adam will be there.

@Torg yeah, definitely stop by if you haven't already.
It's been a little crazy with travel for me, sorry about the late reply. If you come by next week things will be a little less crazy and @thediceabide or I can get a teaching game in with you or something.

It's past now, but you can still do it!
We did a Tigerlands about play timing in Power Pack, you can check out the details in my latest battle report.

It feels like forever since I've been able to get a game in. Probably a good thing to take a break, honestly. I do a deeper dive on timing in this game, so check it out if you want to follow along with our Tigerlands in the PNW.

February 2020! Lots of 2's, so it's time to buddy up and take some Fireteam Duos for this month's Bromad Academy mission!
Send your thoughts to report@bromadacademy.com for a chance to win a blister or Bromad Academy patch!
Mission 018 - Fireteam Duo -
Had 6 responses in January to the Bromad Academy mission on burst 3 or less weapons to focus on positioning and playing to the objective!
Thanks to everyone who wrote in.
Mission 017 Report - Positioning and Objectives -
Doing focused Tigerlands for the last 2-3 weeks has shown some speed of play improvement from all our players (that's the point of the Tigerlands so far).
This time, I asked everyone to play Rescue and try to 10-0 their opponents, to really force them to focus on objectives and not killing.
Tohaa Puppy Rescue -
Our next Tigerlands is all about playing to the objective. Try to get a score of 10 in Rescue. That's it. I may run a one-shot tournament of Rescue on Feb 6th at Glimpses, to put some artificial pressure on.
If you would show up on Feb 6, PM me, just gauging interest.

Given that we're working on play speed, I'm going to be enforcing dice down times and also announcing deployment times, just like we've been doing in our recent Tigerlands!

Back to Haqq for a bit, just to do something different.

Added some house rules for civilians as area templates to add some additional complexity to a remote game of Infinity. Thanks to @Zelaponeepus for suffering through the crazy new rules and my first outing with Dahshat!
