ChaosGerbil
Hi, lately I've been using more wings on models, such as attaching Balrog wings to a War Hydra or Vargheist wings to Daemon princes. Anyone have any interesting experiences they want to share converting wings? Right now I want to convert some Dark Elf Cold Ones to Eldar Exodite Dragon riders, counting as jetbikes. I'm not sure what wings to use, but I want them to be cheap and still look good. I know a guy that use dryer sheets and wire to make wings so I might do that. Any off the wall sources for wings? I found some cool dragon wings from Megabloks dragon toys.
Guest
3. Saw an opponent that made wings for his Sanguinus out of lots of purity seals. It looked really awesome from one side, but less impressive from the other side (still pretty awesome). He said it took an impressive amount of patience and glue to make it work. -Pax

WestRider
This reminds me that I need to get back to my Daemon Prince project, which the next step of which is putting Cockatrice wings on The Nightbringer. I'll try to remember to get some pics as I go through that.
ChaosGerbil
So far it seems like all the new big GW kits for fantasy have good wings. Chappy those wings wouldn't work for my Exodite flying lizards but I'd love to make some chaos daemons furies out of them. These furies made from gargoyle wings and damonettes are pretty sweet: http://www.coding.com.pl/kacccper/?p=
