PumpkinHead
For the GSC Acolytes, when a model has a Heavy Rock Saw (Two-handed, Armourbane, Unwieldy), he loses his melee weapon and rending claws, but retains his pistol. The models have 3 hands and the heavy rock saw is two handed, but would you still get the bonus for 2 weapons since you have the pistol and the models clearly have 3 hands to use? Unless they have a very specific special rule, using two handed weapons always denies the bonus attack for paired weapons. Furthermore, aside from walkers, models with multiple limbs do not get more than 1 bonus attack regardless of how many limbs or extra close combat weapons they have. Walkers, on the otherhand, specifically get bonus attacks for having additional melee weapons, with no upward limit.
WestRider
Yeah, the Two-Handed Rule just flat out says you never get the extra Attack for more than one CCW. Doesn't have any exemptions built in for multiple arms.
PumpkinHead
Ok, thanks. I was hoping... but I guess not.
WestRider
The 40K Rules have never been particularly well-suited to dudes with multiple arms. Shadow War seems to be a bit better in that regard, tho.
PumpkinHead
That's a 150$ buy in that is a limited release. Maybe if I can get my hands on it...
WestRider
I was saying that more as a vague hope that GW might be expanding in that direction in the future, bringing extra bonuses for more than two arms into regular 40K. That said, the SW:A Core Rules should be available as an ebook from the Black Library by the end of the month from what I've heard, supposedly from GW's Facebook.
