Meanwhile in the crew break room, the gang was doing some recovery of their own after the nasty rough up they got from the Smelters last night. Borya, who wasn't on the mission, asked, "You guys look terrible. What the hell happened?" "What happened!? I'll tell you what happened you little bastard. We got our asses handed to us. That's what happened!", gruffed Yegar. "First we find out one of those lousy bounty hunters got a better deal at the last minute. No good turncoat got his face kicked in quick but it didn't make the job any easier. Then Kaz... ugh man, Kaz went down. He... he didn't make it..." Yegar's voiced trailed off as he lost it and started bawling. Kostya patted his hand on Yegar's shoulder and looked up to Borya with grief in his eyes. "That's not all mate. The Smelters took Stanis. When Fedor called off the mission, they all split to regroup. Stanis never showed. The boss got a message this morning, those bastards Smelters have him. Can you imagine? Losing your only son like that. Boss is livid. Ain't come out of his office all morning." Borya looked dumbfounded, unable to comprehend how much had happened on the job last night. The guilt was rising up his gut. He could feel his blood pressure rising so he adjusted his airflow to release some more Kalma into his system. Then the office door burst open. Fedor Reznik standing in the causeway between the office and breakroom. A swirl of smoke and the stench of Lho preceded his entrance into the small compartment. "We've got work to do," he barked out. "Tell the fellas to gear up. I've called in a favor for some extra firepower. We are going to get my boy back."
