Rant complete. I think a lot of that comes from the paints we use not actually being the chromatic ideals that colour theory is based on. So we're getting something that's a bit off from the actual opposite, leading to an effect that's more or less the visual equivalent to hitting a tritone when you want a perfect fifth. 1 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
