4/30/22: Ordo Fanaticus Game Day@ W.O.W. 11am - 4pm

THE PLACE

Location: 717 SE Main St. Portland OR 97214 (map) - Around the corner from Kokiyo Teriyaki and up the stairs. Cost to play games is $8 for Ordo Members, $3 for Ordo Warlord Champions, and FREE for Emperors! As always, your first Game Night is FREE!

If you're looking to game we will be here. Opting to lay low? Stay home and stay safe, we'll catch you next time.

THE MISSION

Games we play: All, with a focus on Warhammer 40k, Kill Team, Bloodbowl, Necromunda, board games and more.

While it is possible to find a pickup game at Game Night, it is much better to pre-arrange a game before coming down. New players are always welcome, feel free to stop by and check it out.

BUT WHAT ABOUT COVID-19?

Due to the current Multnomah county mask mandate, all attendees must wear masks.  Players are encouraged to spread out their games and avoid congestion. Do not attend game night if you experience any of the symptoms found here.   Oregon's Mask Mandate expired on March 12th - but we do require all our players to be courteous and conscious of their opponents and other players around them.  If you're feeling ill in any way - please stay home, and make sure to communicate with people you've been in contact with.   Ordo will continue to have masks available for anyone to use, and we're happy to make certain rooms mask only if anyone requests it.

GAME NIGHT EXPECTATIONS

If the pandemic has taught us anything, it’s taught us we don’t need more stress in our lives. As a result, Ordo is expecting an even greater level of friendliness and fellowship at Game Night than our normal high expectations. Please be aware that as always, the Czar has the ability to ask a player to leave if the Czar feels it necessary. Games are meant to be enjoyed, so let’s have fun.

Thinking about working on painting up some Sector Imperialis buildings to add to the stock of 40k buildings for GN + tournaments on this day. I might be up for a game of Kill Team as well.

Welcome!!! There are a few of us here who are more then willing to play slow hammer and walk you through a game, step by step. We can play as complete or as minimal game youre comfortable with and keep adding stuff in til it clicks! I have at least a dozen teams in all varying skill levels so you won't have to play the same game twice!!! Looking forward to gaming with you, any questions, ask away!!!

Hey, I’m new to ordo, never been in before. I’ve been collecting 40k for years, and understand 9th fairly well, but haven’t had the chance to play any games since 7th edition. I’d love to play this weekend. How do I go about setting up a game?

Welcome!!!! You're off to a good start just simply by posting here!!! In a perfect scenario you jist post up here, someone will respond, and you meet and play!! Usually if you post what you're looking for, someone will respond. A lot of the times you can show up and there will be games available. There are plenty of willing participants who can play slow hammer and step by step walk through each game and action!!! Our goal here is to gas people up in the hobby and push for a more fun and enjoyable game instead of leaning towards tournament play style!! Come down, ask ALL the questions, and have a good time! We look forward to gaming with you!

Looks like this could be a match - @ImperialTrooper will be around and can help facilitate, etc, if you’re both able to make it down today - feel free to post up here to coordinate or pm folks directly if you haven’t already.
