Eat a good breakfast and stay hydrated. It's amazing how much more enjoyable getting "knocked around" is when you are well fed.
cadaver2k
Don't take it too serious, its a game that goes best with beer in hand. ;)
Krieger
Haha! True! Better to die with a full belly and a few beers to numb the pain.

Don't feel compelled to attempt assault (or move into rapid range) with everything, and do not worry about fleeing the vicinity of certain opponents. Find the opponent/situation where you can really showcase your high initiative DE (and amazing shooting). Never forget to throw grenades in the shooting phase. The grenade rules are amazing in 7th. Make sure to throw one whenever it's in range. They can be snapped at flyers and used in overwatch (non-blast versions, only one per squad, but it helps). Beyond that, I suggest focusing the first turn on disabling as much as possible, rather than destroying. Ideally, you want to force the majority of their shooting to be snapping at you turn 2 (or their turn 1 if you go first). Though, if they only have a few AA options, especially interceptor AA options, your list really needs them destroyed turn 1. Your flyers are just too fragile. Lord Hanaur
Grotesques kick ass. So do voidraven bombers. Your list is going to need help getting to grips w the enemy since the grotesques have no transport. Ride them close to terrain on the approach and once the planes arrive, crush all before you. The talos are similarly exposed. Interposing venoms and raiders can give you mobile coveer for them.
WarlordGhrom
Don't worry about winning or losing. Just enjoy the moment and have fun with your opponent. That is what OFCC really is about.
Krieger
Cool thanks everybody. I am not too concerned with winning. I just want to try to give a good enjoyable game and maybe kill a few things :)
Psilence
Take a movement tray if you're not already. Only having to pack/unpack your army once makes life easier :) also, not having to deal with your cases is golden. You've probably got a tray already though ;) good luck btw :)
