Gabado
very much down, have only played twice before, would def need a refresher on the rules. but the undead will roam the streets of the shattered city for sure!
generalripphook
Undead are great because they have so much fear and vampires. Especially against skaven who have such low leadership.

smashthedean
Same here. Couldn't do a regular thing on Fridays, but I could probably play every once in a while.
JMGraham
Christian, give Frostgrave a try! Needs some mods (like using 2d10 instead of d20s), but it's pretty sweet. I'm always up for Mordheim, but as a campaign game, it need some serious tweaks (Skaven, etc.)
JMGraham
Also, fix your godsdamned schedule! You've had years to organize your work schedule around Tuesdays. Get on it!
sounder
It's true I needs new schedule, also i was thinking more like once or twice a month on fridays
smashthedean
I liked Frostgrave, but I feel like without individual soldier progression, it doesn't work for me as a campaign game. I think Mordheim will work fine if we just don't take it too seriously and go in with the mindset of having fun rather than wiping our butts with each others' models. JMGraham
The deal with Frostgrave is that you have to realize that your soldiers are completely expendable. They do "advance" in that you can give them equipment and re-hire them into better-statted soldiers, but they are going to die in droves. Which is inconsequential when you consider your own wizardly might.
Gabado
As much as I love the idea of sending dozens of nameless peasants to their respective dooms, I really dig the feel and character of the Mordheim warband. Once or twice a month works well for me, and it'd be nice to do it as a relaxed, not so serious game. I've never been one for intense competition, and I would much rather have fun with a story, than to torture ourselves with a complex system of competition.

I appreciate what Frostgrave is all about, but I prefer the leveling system of Mordheim. I'm out of the country the next two Fridays, but the one after I get back perhaps?
