Kings of War damage tracker alternatives

So I noticed that the Kings of War deluxe edition book comes with some really nifty damage trackers. I can't say I'm a fan of the "pole and markers" style, but the little dice holders seem perfect for someone like me, since I always seem to inadvertently pick up wound dice during the course of a game, even if they are different colors.

Unfortunately, it seems like they run $15+ for 4 of the plastic ones, which is more than I'm willing to spend. I had hoped that there would be come cheap MDF alternatives, but so far I'm not having any luck finding any. Anyone have any suggestions?

I had thought I had seen something that attached to a movement tray. I'll have to look it up.

EDIT: found these at Litko:

Thank you, I appreciate it! Unfortunately, they cost about the same as the plastic dice holders from Mantic for 4 of them. I'm looking to pick up at least 20 or so damage trackers, heh.

You could always make your own. There is a thread out there where a guy made his own spin dial trackers. He might have even posted a document with the dial print so you could cut them out.

See how nice I am?

Thanks! I might look into that, definitely not afraid of a little DIY, heh.

Taking a look online, I found this site that will do 20/25mm skirmish trays on a 3x1 configuration. 20 of them costs $9.23-ish after converting from Pounds to USD, although it doesn't say how much shipping is. Going to make some inquiries :)
