Brother Glacius
I think I starting buying into WFB during fourth edition. During my recent office cleanup, I discovered I still owned most of my 4th and 5th edition warhammer stuff. This is kicking back 20 years now, but I wonder how that gameplay holds up. JMGraham
No interest in playing anything Fantasy but Ninth Age; however.... Remember flying high? Flying unit leaves the table. Next turn, it can charge ANYWHERE on the board. Units flying high can charge and fight each other. Fun idea, but in practice heroes on dragons and bloodthirsty era were much too devastating. KIRBY
Flying high sucked. I can't recall which edition it was that I consistently had a High Elf Mage pick up terrain and kill my army with it -- that also sucked. I actually really liked 8th edition and what I have seen of 9th age...
