AgentP
Dear 2014 OFCC Fantasy Team captains: A few announcements for you. 1. The rules pack with scenarios will be published very shortly. Tickets are now on sale. 2. The ratings committee members for the 2014 OFCC Fantasy Team are as follows: AgentP Herozero Veskit Obscure Reference Sylvos thatdave Talapas ClassicFlava Exile 3. If you are a team captain, please send an email to: 2014OFCCFantasyTeam@gmail.com. In that email, please give me (1) the name of your team, (2) your real name, your email, and your phone number. DO NOT SEND ME AN EMAIL UNLESS YOU ARE A TEAM CAPTAIN. 4. I will be setting up two captains conference calls in early June, on different days. These conference calls will be opportunities for captains to ask questions about the OFCC, the "spirit" of the event, the comp and rules pack, etc. Once I have all your email addresses, and contact info, I will send out the days for the conference calls. 5. List deadlines: Beginning June 1, 2014, captains can email their team’s completed lists. Please only send the full team list. All team lists must be emailed by the team captains no later than July 1, 2014. Lists received after this date will incur penalties as set out in the rules pack. List submitted early will be reviewed early. If you have any concern about a list being rejected, get it in early. If you send us a list on July 1, you may not get a rating for 3-4 weeks due to volume, and you run the risk of getting a rejected list with little time to paint and make changes. 6. List formatting: Captains will email their team lists to 2014OFCCFantasyTeam@gmail.com. The list needs to be in MS Word format only. No army builder, no quartermaster, no excel files, nothing but simple MS Word following this format (and with math verified accurate and complete by the team captain). Please don't forget to include such things as magic lores, magic levels, command, etc. Also, please save any fluffy names for your opponent event copy of the list. For rating purposes, just use the name of the unit that appears in the rules. An example of exactly how to format a list is below. Please use it as a template: TEAM NAME – ARMY NAME Person’s Name – Ordo Forum Name LORDS [ POINT TOTAL / PERCENTAGE] Unit Entry, general?, magic levels, magic lore, items, options, equipment [Points] HEROES [ POINT TOTAL / PERCENTAGE] (Total models in unit) Unit Entry, magic levels, magic lore, items, options, equipment [Points] CORE [ POINT TOTAL / PERCENTAGE] (Total models in unit) Unit Entry, magic levels, magic lore, items, options, equipment [Points] SPECIAL [ POINT TOTAL / PERCENTAGE] (Total models in unit) Unit Entry, magic levels, magic lore, items, options, equipment [Points] RARE [ POINT TOTAL / PERCENTAGE] (Total models in unit) Unit Entry, magic levels, magic lore, items, options, equipment [Points] TOTAL: ________ So, an example list would look like: TEAM ORDO – DAEMONS Bronson - Agent P LORDS [515 / 18%] Daemon Prince, General, Mark of Tzeentch, Lv 4, Lore of Metal, [515] Wings, Greater Gift, Lesser gift HEROES [400 / 14%] Herald of Tzeentch, Lv2, Lore of Tzeentch, Exalted Locus [175] Herald of Khorne, BSB, Exalted Locus, Lesser gift [225] CORE [846 / 32%] (31) Bloodletters, champion, standard, musician [464] (10) Pink Horrors, standard [140] (10) Pink Horrors, standard [140] (10) Pink Horrors, standard [140] SPECIAL [445 / 16%] (3) Bloodcrushers, standard [205] (6) Screamers of Tzeentch [240] RARE [590 / 20%] (1) Skullcannon of Khorne [135] (1) Burning chariot of Tzeentch [150] (1) Soulgrinder of Tzeentch, daemonbane claw [270] TOTAL: 2799
WarlordGhrom
should we use any acronyms in regards to command models, i.e. FC for full command, M for Musician, S for standard? Or do you prefer the full word on them?
AgentP
I'd prefer things be spelled out, so there is no room for misunderstanding
TJP
Will do. Just as a note, unless something's changed or is in the comp pack, your general doesn't need to be declared on your army list, if you have several eligible models. Usually not an issue though. Drak
can we get an update on how players can take things from the arcanum/storm of magic soon? or confirmation that this info will be provided when the scenarios are?

AgentP
BUMP Captains should be gathering their teams and getting ready to submit lists. List submission opens June 1.
Lion of Flanders
Question: The above format is exactly what quartermaster does. If the math must be checked (good idea) then that eliminates the possibility that quartermaster could have some template or coding error in it.... Therefore, why the requirement to type out a list using Word? Seems almost as dubious as requiring that they be handwritten in ink. What am I missing? rudra34
Using one format (word in this situation) allows for quicker list viewing, rating, and organization. Whether or not quartermaster does all of those things internally, it will still look different than other lists submitted. Word, or any basic word processing program, are easily accessible and can be easily edited by captains if necessary. This is just my assumption, but using the same formatting program will streamline and simplify the process.
Drak
also most people will have Word, not the case with Quartermaster.
