    Looking for necrons army. Assembled primed or painted. Looking to get started with a decurion and some canoptiks. My estimated wants: 1 lord 1 cryptek 40 warriors 10 immortals 2 spyders 6 wraiths 1 night scythe 3 tomb blades 2 ghost arks Will obviously look at more but that's my highest priority. Give me a heads up what you have and in what condition.

    Abusepuppy I understand that logic but those are specifically USRs which need to explicitly say that the rule is passed on to the squad. In this case it is a formation bonus to the unit not a USR granted by the formation.

    And i realize now it says they may use their packs in the assault phase as well not shooting. Is this on lieu of making an assault

    Sounds good sorry for the questions but it also states that assault marines may use their packs in move and shooting. So they can move 24" a turn and still fire? Secondly the devastator pin bonus isn't just in the turn they drop but is persistent?

    I think that is in regards to USRs specially but could be mistaken. Although i would like to see the BRB quote for this.

    Another question. I heard sentinels of terra supplement got an update silently. Can i use it with the new costs and options etc but still be granted close order bolter drill in the stead of bolter drill

    That's that way I read it. this seems to be pretty much an auto include in my army.

    Would Lysander be able to ds with them as he has terminator armor. Granted he'd be slower but putting him in their face turn one could be nice.

    So i am correct in assuming an ic joined to the assault Marines would be able to charge as well???

    Hes a bulk buyer and is not really interested in haggling or negotiating. I can completely understand that you know what your getting from him without messing around. It's kind of like a salvage yard, when you sell your getting bottom dollar but you don't have any wait or turn around,

    The rule doesn't specifically mention reserve. The models in that vehicle have the option to stay in it after deep strike

    This is similar to elysia rules for 1st turn their flyers get assault ramps for first turn from reserve but they can't utilize because the rule book overrides it saying they may not assault from reserve

    While I agree with the Abuse_Puppy on RAW, I do feel the RAI is pretty clear here. It is unfortunate though that a ruling will probably have to be made on this in the tournament scene as it is not directly stating that the codex (formation) rule over rides the Big Book.
