  1. I made a few changes to the above, more to come. Sorry, its just been a super busy weekend and first day back in the office.
  2. Looks like it would be a nice addition to my DeffSkullz.
  3. For me, we whole of my 40k future is going to be based on this Ork book. I have yet to pick up a 7th edition book, and wont, until the new Ork Dex is out. If it kneecaps Da'Orks (like WHFB tends to do), that will be that, and my GW days are over. The new big model does look cool, lets hope the book follows its looks.
  4. Sorry guys, I'm a little busy this weekend. I'll get pictures and prices up very soon.
  5. Hello Ordo, Time has come again for me to clear out geekstuff that I'm not using and find it new homes where it might fine some use. Sadly I have a few home repairs that need to be dealt with and could use some assistance drumming up some funds. First up on the bock is some Fantasy Terrain, that is also currently out of production. 250$ Fortifed Manor House, complete. The main building is built, but the stone wall is not. I also have the secondary wall/fence kit that was included. Church (built) Tower (built) 2 sets of the Wall/Fence kits These items I found out when looking for a fair price are actually part of a single kit. It was "Warhammer Buildings" and included the Fortifed Manor House, the Church, Tower, and 2 extra wall kits. Tower of Sorcery (not built) Warhammer Siege Tower (not built) After looking, and seeing the Manor House alone is selling for 170 on Ebay (not including the church and tower). I am asking for 250$, for the Manor House, Church, Tower, all the Wall/Fences, the Siege Tower, and the Tower of Sorcery (i.e. all of the Fantasy stuff). That is for a local hand off (greater Seattle/Portland area). Cities of Death Battlemat (still in tube) This is 4foot by 6foot, I'll work on getting a picture this evening. 100$ I also have the Backpack from the 1st Apocalypse release and a GW case. The backpack has zero use, and includes both sets of the Velcro patches. 50$ Part 2: Space Marines/Ultramarines (plus bitz): 300$ Includes "other bitz" that I will list soon. The price is based on what is listed below. Whirlwind Land Speeder w/assault cannon, heavy flamer bits Lascannon Razorback 6 marine squad w/Lascannon. Metal Ultramarine and Troop shoulder pads w/custom Lascannon shoulder pad. Lascannon Razorback 6 marine squad w/Lascannon. Metal Ultramarine and Troop shoulder pads w/custom Lascannon shoulder pad. 10 marine squad w/Meltagun, Powerfist, Metal Ultramarine and Troop shoulder pads. 10 marine squad w/Meltagun, Powerfist, Metal Ultramarine and Troop shoulder pads. 10 marine Assault squad, Powerfist, 2 plasma pistols, Metal Ultramarine and Fast Attack shoulder pads 11 marine Scouts: 5 Plastic "new" snipers, 4 metal snipers, 1 metal HB scout, 1 metal ccw scout. Old Metal Dreadnought oop Metal Venerable Dreadnought *Edit 6-20 @ 6pm Here are the "other bitz" that is included (just not factored in to the asking price) 10 Marines: ML, Sarge, starter kit marines 10 Marines: 2 ML, 3 Bolters, 2 CCW w/PP, 1 CCW, 1HB, 1 ML (newer one with loading arm) 2 metal Blood angel Marines (missing arms) 1 Space Marine Commander box (was 15$ or so new when I got it, has quite a few bitz) 1 Attack Bike with both HB and MM gun bitz 2 Bikes on sprues, missing wheels also spare shoulderpads, guns, arms, CCW arms, chests, acc bitz and so on.
  6. Hi Yarb, I hope the rest of 2014 turns around for you! Glad to hear it wasn't a Heart Attack (Super scary).
  7. On a positive side, Kickstarter actually told their client base over hiding it like many companys do. Yahoo email is actually the worst one, as they are the most hacked of the "free email" bigie's. Enough that if you use an @yahoo address, I would strong suggest closing it for favor of something different.
  8. There is zero suprise on my end by this news. GW has been heading down this path for several years. I'll stop short of getting on my soap box about it. Zero suprise
  9. As a kickstarter backer, yes, the sub dollar a mini is a good deal. But, the idea behind Kickstarter was to fund future retail products. At retail cost, I cannot say I am behind the Bones line. At Kickstarter costs, for a box'O cheapass mini's, sure.
  10. I was part of the first Reaper Bones Kickstarer. I jumped in for about 135$ I think, so I got quite a few Mini's and a couple of extra dragons. I have to say, I was very saddened when I acutally recieved my Mini's. They are of extreamly poor quality, less than your standard non-paintable game piece. The materail used to make up the models would change in hardness and type within the same model. It would go from hardended plastic to almost a rubber "Dog chew toy" quality. I'm just just talking about the bendy weapons (I undersand that). I figured they would be along the lines as the mini's from Zombicide (should you also have a copy of those near by). I would not suggest Reapers Bones lines to anyone. But, to be fully fair, due to the Bones line I recived via kickstarter, I did pick up a few metal versions. I found a few models I liked, and I wanted to have better quality versions of.
  11. I remember this as well, just saw it this past year when traveling to visit family for Christmas.
  12. Has anyone shipped anything to the UK? I have a good offer for all of my WHFB stuff, but it will need to be shipped to the UK. I have not shipped anything overseas before and I'm finding it far more expensive than I thought (I knew it wouldn't be cheap, but wow). The painted part of the army is taking up some space due to the foam trays used to store the army (Army Transport trays). The unpainted and unpainted has quite abit of Metal to it, adding some weight as well. USPS and FedEx at first glance look to be pretty close to the same costs. UPS, is about 3 times more expensive. Is there another carrier anyone suggests? Is it better to have 1 bigger box or 24in cubed, or a coulple of smaller boxes? Thanks for the help, Dave
  13. For me, I've Kickstarted quite a few things. Some I am still waiting to show up, of those that have played: Dungeon Roll Zombicide Castle Dice Castle Dice gets played at the house, and I've seen this game in a few stores already. Zombicide gets played from time to time, I have not played "2nd Season", or the "Zombie Mall" addons yet. I've recieved Deadzone, Sedition Wars, and Storm the Castle. Sadly I just have not had time to play these three as of yet.I hope to change that soon. While I was not part of the kickstarter for it, Sentinels of the Multiverse, I have picked it up at a local store and playing quite often. There are a couple of games I am still awaiting to show up, "Kings Forge", and "Kingdom Death: Monster". I believe these two will also get quite alot of play once they show up.
  14. Hello Ordo, It is time for me to say good bye to Warhammer Fantasy Battles and my Orc and Goblin army. My collection is quite a few years in the making, and spans several versions of Orcs and Goblins. There are also a few gems for those O&G fans as well. For Example, Grimgors Battle Standard Bearer, the Orc Army Battle Standard Bearer from GW’s old “Army Deal” bundles, an Orc Warboss Games Day mini, and the classic Night Goblin flipping the bird. At this exact moment, I’m selling everything together, one very large, you get everything bundle. Since this makes this somewhat easier on myself, and, I want to give an Ordo member a good deal, its priced at just under a third of what this would cost. I live in the greater Seattle area (south Everett) and can happily meet you locally, or if you are coming up for a future event (like a Tshft). 1200$ - For everything When I totaled everything up, it was over 3700$ worth of O&G awesomeness. When adding things up, I did not include any unit fillers, the 2 custom Mangler Squigs, any of the Bitz, and quite a few extra hero’s in the “unpainted” section. Anything with a * in front is not priced, but included (if that makes sense). I also have an Army Transport with cutout foam for most of the painted part of the O&G army, this is also included (and not listed below). All of my movement trays are includes as well, these include GF9 wood ones, GW quick trays, and custom trays (also not listed below). I’ve uploaded some cellphone photos of the painted units to photobucket. I can easily take more, just let me know and I’ll take more of the models you’ld like and upload them to the album below. http://s43.photobuck...ibrary/OrcsWHFB To answer the next question “Why am I selling them?”: Mainly, I have not played WHFB since the last Las Vegas GT ran by Games Workshop. As such, I would rather the models get some use from someone else, than sit and gather dust in my display case. Also, my 10 year Anniversary is coming up pretty soon. Almost 100% of selling the O&Gs will go towards my Anniversary. “Please, please, please break up X, Y, Z unit for me?”: At the moment, no, I would really rather just give the whole lot to someone in one go. If a couple of Ordo’s want to all chip in and break it up yourselves, that’s cool too. Later, I might break up the unpainted stuff, but that would be as I list them on Ebay. The painted army will stay together as a single lot, even on Ebay. Breaking everything up takes quite a bit of time (that I just don’t have), selling it as one large lot saves me a large amount of time. As such, its tagged at 1/3rd. I’m happy to answer any questions anyone might have, field suggestions and anything else. 15. Based on that, would 1200 for everything sound like a good deal?
  16. Last night I spend some quality time doing some math. I've found that I've spent far to much money on Games-Workshop over the years (hahaha)! The painted stuff adds up to 1640, and the unpainted stuff 1621. There are a few things that are not in those numbers. The custom Mangler Squigs, Unit Fillers, Bitz alot of bitz) and some extra odds & ends I've picked up over the years. What is the going discounted rate to apply? Based off some other posts that I've read, most people offer Ordo Members around 50% and put things up on ebay at 2/3rds. Thats pretty much 800$ for each lot here on Ordo and 1000 on Ebay. Granted I would most likely break up Ebay in to smaller chucks on the unpainted stuff.
  17. I did hop in on the Deadzone Kickstarter, as did another friend of mine. Sadly, I have been super busy with the holidays and I havent even read the rule book as of yet. I got in at the strikezone level, got all of the facations, and the super-booster for each one. I wanted to keep them all "balanced" if possible. Granted I did add the Goblin Mech thing, just had to get the cool goblinly thing. I did manage to go though everything to make sure its all there before the deadline at the end of Janurary. About another week and I'll have time to look at the rules and start putting together one of the factions. How do you like it so far?
  18. Hi Ordo's! Its been quite a while since I've played WHFB, my last game was at the last LasVegas GT. Almost everyone who I used to play with have given up on 8th edition as a whole. As I look around my GeekCave, I've come to the point where someone else can get better use out of my Orcs. I have a large amount of Painted and unpainted Orcs&Goblins. As such, I'ld like to get some suggestions on how to sell what I have. Yes, before I put it up on Ebay, I'll put it up here (and for cheaper) in hopes I can give them a known good home. Question 1, My Black Orcs are about 2 highlights from being fully finished with their new paint job. Will putting the effort in really make a difference in selling a painted unit/army? Question 2, I have quite alot of older, out of print, and better versions of the models (imho). How do I come up with a fair (and sellable) value? Question 3, How do I price conversions? Question 4, Do I sell all of the Painted stuff in 1 lot, and all of the unpainted stuff in a 2nd? Here (I hope) is a working link to some pictures I took last night to assist you with the above questions. http://s43.photobucket.com/user/Gerignack/library/OrcsWHFB Here is a list of the Painted stuff: Painted: Black Orcs: 21 metal, + 3 plastic command, + Special edition Battle Standard (dead dwarf), + Metal Black Orc Boss (2 choppas), + Metal GamesDay GreatWeapon Orc/Black Orc Old Metal Giant: The Green Giant Mangler Squigs: 2 Custom conversions Snotling Pump Wagons: 4 Doom Divers: 2 Warboss on Wyvern: Converted (Squivern) Goblin Shamans on Charoits: 2 both converted Orc Boar boyz: 2 units of 6 with musician (all metal) Bolt Throwers: 2 (includes crew) Stone thrower: 1 (includes crew) Spider Riders: 10, includes Champ, and musician Squigs: 18 metal, 10 Herders (28 total models) Squig Hoppers: 9 (2 of those need to be rebased) Orc Shamans: 3 (2 of those are conversions, 1 is stock) Night Goblin with Spears: 48 older “bigger” goblins, includes standard, musician, 3 nets Night Goblin with bows: 40 older “bigger” gobins, includes standard, musician (needs last highlight) Fantaics: 4, 1 metal 3 plastic Orc Charoits: 2, 1 is normal, other has Boss/Shaman options + unpainted normal crew Orcs with Choppa/shields: 24, includes full command Orcs with 2 Choppas: 38 with 2 sets of full commands Orc “Unit Fillers”: 3, 2 2square “Anomisity” model, 2 6square custom conversions.
