Still, moving 45 gargoyles around is no small feat for a timed game.
For my pocket book I will be tied down to the living artillery for a while until I can get more gargoyles.
-
As fun as it would be to field 90 gargs and 6 FMCs, the game would take to long. I see that as more of a garage hammer and not tournament. I am looking at the living artillery. That looks pretty sweet!

I like my hand egg, but football is much more fun. You actually get to see the players play for a full 90, not just 20 minutes of play, lots of wandering around the field, and commercials every other play.
the timbers will have a good season, but I hope the Sounders will have a better one!

GWs next model...

Joel should have kept his eldar bikes away from your board edge and kept them hidden more. With their ability to zoom around the board quickly, he could have kept them alive long enough to contest.
-
Remember when disembarking your burnas to keep them spread out so your flamer template does not touch any friendly model.

FAQed? The BRB says model, not base. This came up recently and my scouts got vectored from wings, not the base. I'd love to know if I'm wrong here.

You are right, it does say model... I have always played the base. Interesting, that now brings up a much larger footprint for them to be able to vector strike.

Vector strikes are off of the base... wings don't count.

That is the first time I have seen that size base modeled in that fashion and figured I would get people opinion on it. There is nothing showing or stating which direction a base should face.

Over on dakkadakka I was reading a tyranid bat rep and saw this picture. You can see the Crone in the bottom right, and it is modeled with Crone facing along the minor axis. Where as in the top left of the picture you see another crone/harpy with it facing along the major axis of the base. Is changing the direction of the base considered modeling for advantage?

The 50% thing is mission specific. Not kidding, some missions don't use it.
Really? I will have to go back and read. This could be an interesting tidbit for future games.
-
The webway portal just allows reserves, even if the mission does not. No where does it say you can reserve more then 50% of your army.

15 minute drive, assuming you make the lights on meridian.

I've got both, in need of stripping (yowza!). Tradewise, I'm on the lookout for RT Marines and Nid stuff, or cash. Or a heap of random type things. PM me :)
The website says you can't receive any more PMs.
The marines I have are all newer plastics. I have plenty of Nid stuff, what are you looking for? And/or what is your price? PM me. :)

Probably a 30 minute drive. The only train stop I know is the one in down town Tacoma.

Sounds like a fun thing to try. My palate is not as refined, but I think it would be a good test.

Right now I blatantly Steal what Frontline is doing. No escalation, no stronghold assault, data slates will be okay (I'm thinking no more than two codexes in one army be it via allies or slates) at 1250 I don't see it being a problem and keep in mind that this is to get out and play and on the participation piece I have reserved the right to revoke tickets this could be linked to making abusive lists.
My recommended check is would I be willing to trade my opponent armies and play against this myself, if the answer is no figure out why and fix it! We are all slightly different I want people to just come out join the community and play. :)
Also FW is totally okay.
Emphasis is mine.
Romans and I are driving up for the the Feb 15 tourny from Tacoma if you are in the area.

Looking for a second edition lictor and carnifex(s), any condition as long as all the parts are there.
I have Nids and marine stuff for trade, or money.

Dinosaur Train on PBS. 6 seasons worth... My kid is into dinosaurs, so we watch it on a daily basis. It is fun for the kid and I enjoy the facts that go along with the show. I would rate it a solid 8/10 for people that like dinosaurs. :)

Thanks guys! I will be trying my hand at this in the coming months.
-
Mark me a tentative. If you get your 10 before I can confirm, no worries, go with those that can play.

What is allowed at your tournys? Dataslates, escalation, stronghold, FW?

My bing-fu seems to be lacking. I cannot find a tutorial on how to paint ruins / buildings for 40k terrain. Can I get some tips, tricks, pointers, and/or a tutorial on painting war torn buildings?
*IMPORTANT* - Might be time to think about some rent fellas

Olympic cards and comics has a rebate like card. You get 10% of your purchase price put onto a card for use on a future purchase. I think there is a 20 dollar by in, but you get some perk for buying in. I bought in a long time ago, so I don't remember.
