There is currently a ongoing battle of Kursk going on in Bellingham. Pretty much every week we upscale the points and fight another large Kursk themed battle.
Who's ahead, Adolf or Uncle Joe?

Likewise. I can't make the next one due to Lock & Load, but I hope I can make the one after that...

Welp, blew my Kurak Alliance cash on some 15mm Seleucids, so I guess I'm sticking with Dindrenzi for the summer at least.

Bridgetown hobbies and games, on Sandy in PDX

Works for me. I'd prefer Saturdays. Like Brother G,I can't make all of them, but I could do some.

I think I'm going to flip my allegiance over to the Kurak Alliance, since we seem to have quite a few Zenian conquerors here, and the minor race ships are rather intriguing. Looking at a Tarakian/Terquai fleet or possibly Ryushi.

Saturday and Sunday I'll be at enfilade, but I could do a game on Monday if anyone interested.

Looks like three or four Zenian League and two Kurak Alliance so far.

There are oodles of rules sets for the American Civil War, so it really does boil down to what floats your boat. Personally, I'd go with Black Powder (and some house rules) in 15mm but that's because I like my rules fairly simple and straightforward. However, you can also check out Johnny Reb III, Fire & Fury, Regimental Fire & Fury, Longstreet, or really anything on this page.
Or you could partake in the classic pastime of arguing ad nauseum over which rules set is better/more accurate/more playable/etc.

I think I have around 1200 points of Dindrenzi. Gonna be slow to expand, though.

So, when is the next fleet action?
-
Not going to make it after all.

d'oh. I was thinking of Dystopian Wars. I might swing by with my tiny Dindrenzi fleet, then.

Hallowed Ground's Kickstarter might be of interest to folks here. It's for a Vietnam War firebase & related bits.

Is the new rulebook out, then?
-
I'm also up for the occasional Bolt Action game.

Portland for me.

How's bout a link or something to peruse.

Don't play any more, sorry!

I have no interest in the setting, but I've heard good things about the game. I would love to try it out.

Dammit, you're sucking me back in...

Thursday nights at Guardian are extremely hit or miss these days. Your best bet is to arrange games via the forums here - either post in this sub-forum or PM one of the regular players. At the moment, I think that includes the aforementioned MightyAtom13, taran.shannara, and myself.
As for what to collect, you can't go too far wrong with a basic mid or late war infantry force. There's a fair bit of overlap between the periods for foot-sloggers, less so for the treadheads. Mid-war games wander around the 1500 point mark, +/- 100 points; late war games vary from 1650 up to 1750 or so.
