  1. Two wound models do not qualify for a light war scroll unless they are a singular model that can have additional ones added to it, the Black Knights are 2 wound models with a minimum of 5 so they are normal.. A light warscroll are going to be the models that you typically see in large hordes like goblins, or skeletons or skaven and such. So you would have a list like this: Army list: 5 Black Knights - 4 5 Black Knights - 4 5 Black Knights - 4 10 skeleton warriors - 2 10 skeleton warriors - 2 10 Blood Knights - 7 (1 per 5 wounds added so 3) Corpse Cart - 4 5 Hexwraiths - 6 (1 per 5 wounds for mortal wounds) Necromancer 4 (2 for scroll 1 for wizard, 1 for d3 wounds) Total: 37 Scenario is a 25 warscroll limit so you pull from your Army List. 5 Hexwraiths Necromancer Corpse Cart 5 Black Knights 10 Blood Knights Total: 25 You can summon up to 13 additional points of warscrolls during the game from your Army List. So you can summon the Skeleton Warriors, the Black Knights, etc..
  2. LET'S GET READY TO RUMBLE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! WHO'S READY TO RACE ACROSS THE BURNING FIELDS OF THE BRIMSTONE PENINSULA?!??!? HELL YEAH WARHAMMER LET'S DO THIS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! (They have beer there fyi)
  3. OrdoComp v.1.0 - 1. Formations lack a scroll value - possibly use Light Warscroll option based on tangible bonuses awarded for taking units in the formation. 2. Are units in a formation treated as separate warscrolls for warscroll calcluation?
  4. Formations in themselves are singular warscroll and would count as one (in addition to any units they have in them each being a warscoll) That also makes me realize I left something off of the OrdoComp! Thanks!
  5. Greetings Ordo Fanaticus, In an effort to create a system of organized play for our up and coming Warhammer: Age of Sigmar events, I have decided to roll out a structured organized play model for the community to critique and help test out before it is directly implemented into Ordo Fanaticus Warhammer: Age of Sigmar events. Please leave your feedback after reading through and making several lists. The idea here is not to try to "break" the system because it is not designed to restrict what you can or can not take but rather provide a guideline for making tiered lists to play in Ordo events. Try making lists at different increments such as 20, 25, 35, 45, 50, 60, 75, etc... It has taken me about a month of crunching numbers, list building and play testing to finally roll out the version 1.0 of this composition package. I have been adamantly opposed to adding point values to models since AoS came out but I am happy to try to assign composition values to units that are broad enough to allow flexibility yet still keep some semblance of structured play. Anyway I now give unto you - OrdoComp - Warhammer: Age of Sigmar Composition Package v.1.2 Change Log: 9/4/2015 - Added OrdoComp v.1.0 9/4/2015 - Added OrdoComp v.1.1 - Addressed formation costs as Light Warscrolls - Addressed scenery costs as 0. - Specified that units in formations must still be purchased using warscroll composition costs. 9/24/2015 - Added OrdoComp v.1.2 - Addressed 3+/d3/d6 damage model calculation when only a single model in a unit has it - Addressed 3+/d3/d6 damage model calculation against singular keywords - Cleaned up grammar and keywords - Removed several Organized Play and Scoring sections - Revised layout of Composition Package OrdoComp 1.2.pdf
  6. Scenario 1 posted http://www.ordofanaticus.com/index.php?/topic/26050-age-of-sigmar-escalation-league-scenarios/
  7. Scenario One: Shelter from the Storm Your legions land upon the burning landscape of the Realm of Fire. The air is hot and dry as the wind draws all the moisture from your skin. The broken and baked ground upon the Brimstone Peninsula hisses steam as boots crush the blasted earth beneath. The red sun beats down upon the land mercilessly, serving as yet another opponent seeking to crush all beneath it's burning gaze. As a huge gout of flame bursts from the broken, blackened earth a clarion call of battle rings forth over the blasted landscape. The enemy is visible from across the blasted Brimstone Peninsula, the battle chants filling the air with a cacophony of howls and cheers. As your armies get into formation the sky above darkens and the black and grey clouds swell and roil. Lightning bursts forth from the heavens striking the battlefield before you sending thousands of obsidian shards hurling in all directions. You see one of the enemies outriders struck the obsidian shards, the shattered stone shredding armor and bone and reducing the outrider to cooling meat in a second. After a moment the clouds have filled the sky, blotting out the burning sun. Hundreds of bolts of lightning begin to slam into the blasted landscape hurling debris and obsidian shards everywhere. You know that if you do not seek shelter before the storm breaks your army will be destroyed before you even cross blades with the enemy. The hot wind rips through your troops, tearing banners and standards off their poles. You know that your Battle Standard must not be destroyed for it will serve as the rallying point for your army once battle is joined. A massive ziggurat looms to the west, the red brick pyramid offers shelter from the oncoming hellstorm brewing above. As your eyes are drawn back to the battlefield you lock gazes with the enemy commander and the two of you both realize at the same time that the pyramid is the only respite. You bark orders to your legion to advance upon the ziggurat as your enemy does the same, which one of you will reach the shelter first and survive the storm? The Armies: Each player will field between 4 and 8 warscrolls. Scenario Objectives: 1. Get the model designated as the Battle Standard Bearer (or if you are not using a BSB then designate one model to be the Battle Standard) into the terrain piece designated as the Ziggurat*. - 5 points 2. Destroy the enemy Battle Standard Bearer - 2 points 3. Each surviving unit at the end of the game - 1 point per unit. 4. Slay the enemy general - 1 point Sudden Death will not be used this scenario. The Battlefield: The game field will be played upon a 6' x 4' gaming surface. There will be several hills in each 2x2' section and a single structure designated as the "Ziggurat" placed on the table edge opposite of the deployment zones for the players. Players will deploy in their deployment zones as normal. They may set up no closer than 12" from the enemy territory and no closer than 36" from the Ziggurat. Game Length - This scenario will last 6 Battle Rounds or until the first player gets his battle standard bearer into the Ziggurat. The game immediately ends and objective points are determined. Scenario Special Rules: Fireball - Wizards - in the Brimstone Peninsula know the Fireball spell in addition to other spells they know. Fireball has a casting value of 5. If successfully cast, select a target unit within 18" of the caster. If the target unit consists of 1 model it suffers 1 mortal wound. If the target unit consists of 2-9 models it suffers 1d3 mortal wounds. If the target unit consists of 10 or more models it suffers d6 mortal wounds. Raging Tempest - At the beginning of every Battle Round (not player turn) roll a D6 for every unit and consult the following table. D6 Roll: 1 - The unit has been struck by a bolt of lightning from the raging tempest above. The unit may not move or act this turn and suffers D6 mortal wounds. 2 - A bolt of lightning struck near the unit sending shards of razor sharp obsidian into its ranks. The unit suffers D3 mortal wounds. 3-5 - Nothing happens, but you still look to the sky fearfully. 6 - A bolt of lightning struck the unit but someone bravely leaped ahead giving his companions time to react. The unit suffers 1 mortal wound but the act of heroism inspires the unit and they gain +1 Attack for the duration of the Battle Round. Wounds suffered from the Raging Tempest still count towards Battle Shock. Victory Conditions: The player with the greater number of Objective points at the end of the game wins. A player that has no models left on the board loses the scenario but will retain their scenario points. League Scenario Reportings: Victory Points: Win - 3 points Tie - 2 points Loss - 1 point Victory Points + Objective Points = Final Scenario Score

  9. Hey I'll have some scenarios posted hopefully tomorrow. I got slammed this week.
  10. They are basing it off a perceived "attribute cost" where they factor in all the model's stats and assign an algorithm to come up with an associative point value for each model.
  11. The league will go on until October 30th. I don't know the Sunday night game situation. I believe it has been dominated by Jeff's Mordheim league and Eric is doing an Infinity night tonight.
  12. Swedish Composition was never intended for casual play. The system was designed using tournament data from dozens of events to determine applicable difficulty ratings per unit and to provide variety in list building. The need for such a system arose when the principle of "netlisting" was rampant through the tournament scene, this system provides a tangible method of ensuring even match ups in a competitive and varied environment. To use Swedish in Casual play would be like putting on an entire suit of Nike running clothes and shoes to take a walk around the block. Yes, the super lightweight clothing and footwear will keep you cool but it is entirely unnecessary as a leisurely stroll should not result in you encased in body drenching sweat. Best Analogies ever i know. In closing, you may use Swedish to initially determine the difficulty of your list but when playing against friends or clubmates it's going to be a non-issue for the most part. I personally was against Swedish 2 years ago. I hated composition systems as I found them subjective and imbalanced by local (invalid) perceptions of list/unit/model efficiency. That is not the fault of the people performing the composition but rather a negative aspect of trying to ensure a fair and balanced environment but only using local knowledge. Swedish provided a 3rd party balancing system that the community begged for after OFCC 2014 and then in OFCC 2015 loved the results. As a result, having worked with and administered a Swedish based event (OFCC used a modified system based on community and End Times) I am a fan of 3rd party composition systems like Swedish as I feel they provide an excellent tool for the semblance of balance.
  13. I'm working on a composition package for AoS that doesn't involve point costs for models. I will be providing it soon for community perusal.
  14. Four of the models I wanted to order were not in stock. Otherwise I'd Miniature Market that stuff.
  15. Models ordered, rumor has it Aug 26th arrival. As my last order from Spain took 3 months... I am dubious.
  16. Terrain Day starts at 10am. Senate Meeting at 1pm.
