holy crap guys! we are up to 16 people paid for the event! Whoohooo! 8 teams is going to make for a great 3 round event.

CLARIFICATION: If you built a detachment, you get all the benefits of a detachment including CPs. If you built Unbound, then you have no detachments and thus no CPs. Sorry for the confusion everyone!

In the interest in allowing maximum flexibility and inclusiveness, every player gets 3 CPs to use on their army only. How's that sound? So even if you built Unbound, you can still use 3 CP. If you built a list to get over 3 CP, you are still stuck with only 3 CP.

i see where you are comingfrom and agree thst CPs are a large part of 8th.

What I had in mind without CPs is a level playing field for everyone without strategems to use. There are still codexes left to be released and thus some relying only on their index.

plus more time to focus on the missions!

Would it change many lists if I clarify army composition as Unbound or Battle-forged? My idea was for people to bring whatever they want including the ability to bring a Detachment and CPs.

as per page 242 of the BRB, no detachment means no battle forged army which means ZERO command points.

We have about a dozen signed up. I think @Dark Traineris still looking for a teammate.

Make sure to bring 4 copies of your list printed out - iPad sharing is not an option when it comes to lists given to your opponent.
