  1. Are round bases okay to use for this league? I am building a new warband for the most part and find that round bases are more attractive than squares.
  2. I will dust off some of my terrain and with themoats permission get his fortified manor ready for games as well. I have an old gw castle as well as some armourcast temple and ruined temple resin bits.
  3. I would be interested in some Mordhiem as well. If you guys are alright with a true rookie that is.
  4. How many calth marines do you have? How much are you wanting for them?
  5. I have a buddy who has a few blisters of metal beastmen. Are you on the NW wargamers FB group by chance?
  6. For plastics I have been using the testors liquid cement with the metal applicator tip for years with awesome results. It's the all black bottle, not the orange one which has a plastic tip. For resin/metal I use fastcap superglue in all of their offerings. For no other reason than I use it for work as well. I have found most super glues are the same. Thin stuff for tiny fiddly bits, medium for general use and gel for magnets. But that is just me.
  7. I have an empire army from when it was originally released. The game never caught on in my area so the minis got boxed up and come to the surface of my pile of shame at times. What other manufactures offer decent 10mm fantasy minis?
  8. WTT NOS Cataphracti and Tartoras terminators for your NOS Calth or Porspero tactical troops. I have..... Five Cataphracti Five Tartoras I would like.... Ten tactical marines per five terminators. I live in Bellingham so any transactions/trades done from outside of Whatcom County will need to be mailed. Thanks for looking.
  9. There are seven of us scattered in Lynden, Sumas and Demming. There is talk of DT doing a league. But that is just talk for right now. Only one of us has a ready to play army. The rest of us have armies in various stages of completion. Son of Dorn, we are in that group as well sir. ;)
  10. I figured I'd give this thread a bump. Any of you gents still into 30k? There is a small group in the Lynden area who are building up armies.
  11. It sure seems that they are holding out. Not sure what they are looking for. The drop pod manager has been extended a month.
  12. Any further update on your interview progress?
  13. Just the primaries. For whatever reason I am not feeling it for them in my force yet.
  14. I have the marines that came with the box just gathering dust right now. All new on sprue if someone is looking for those we can haggle out a deal.
  15. I doubt the stand in manager would let you do any of that.... He is so Gw that he would not use a menethal white for painting one of his dudes. And would not allow any of my minis in his case if they had third party bits on them.
  16. I went as well. While I do not care for the layout, I felt the two gents there did a great job at making everyone feel welcome. The tables will be rearranged for regular business use. Two large game tables, two demo tables and the hobby station which are the long narrow tables. The event only stuff did have stipulations. I felt those were advertised along with them however. I grabbed a coffee mug and an opening day captain myself. I enjoyed chatting with Jonathan, who is the start up manager until they can hire a local person to run the operation. He has hosted a couple of events around town. I took my girls to his intro to building and painting which I felt was a good thing.
  17. We have been talking about doing one up in lynden. Though we may start out with a couple of super heavy fights first.
  18. Hey folks! Its been a while since I have been down for a warhamsters night. Long story short I took a job for a contractor at BP and did not have time during the week to game. Now I am working down by the bellwether during normal hours. Are Tuesday nights still hamster night at DT? What games are being played? Thanks in advance!
  19. I spoke with a couple of buddies in the south sound about Gw stores moving in. Tacoma seemed to have no problem with the game matrix. However when the store went in at the super mall in auburn the stores around it experienced a delay in getting product. Especially new release items. The Gw store would get their items for launch and FLGS's got theirs a week later. This caused hobby towns in that area to stop carrying Gw products. When the now defunkt battle bunker went in it pretty much sucked all of the players from the east side of lake Washington out of local FLGS's.
