  1. Raindog, all of these guys are right in what they are saying. The best thing to do is find the models you like the look and fluff of. The saying in Infinity is "It's not your list, it's you". It's a very true. It's a tactical dice game and all the factions are very balanced. If you want to come by Super Salty Gaming today, I can show you a few things. I'll be there between noon and 6pm.
  2. Nomads are a great starter army. They have a little bit of everything. Pan Oceania is another good starter army. They both come in the Operation Ice Storm starter box. It comes with dice, rules, starter missions, models for both factions.
  3. Just letting everyone know that we are starting an Infinity league at Super Salty Gaming every Saturday night at 6pm. Bring your models and stuff and we'll throw down. We're still setting it up but I think we'll start with an escalation league. Super Salty Gaming is a new store in Vancouver, Wa. Come support a new local store! They are located at the corner of NE 1st Street and 172nd Ave.
  4. We're planning on starting around 6pm. Stop on by, I'll show you the ropes.

  8. Here are some links to help people figure out their armies. N3 Profile list. It has all the profiles from the three current books. They are broken up into factions. The main book is listed first, followed by Human Sphere and then Campaign: Paradiso. http://static.infinitythegame.com/archivo/descargas/[ENG]_Unit_Profiles.pdf Army 5 army builder program. It's not perfect but it works. http://www.infinitythegame.com/army/ Aleph Toolbox is another army builder. It's pretty basic but gets the job done. I don't know if it's fully updated or not. http://anyplace.it/ia3/ia.html Another army builder is Mayanet. It's exclusive to the apple iOS. So if you have an iPhone or iPad, this program works great and has some cool features. https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/mayanet/id813319977?mt=8 You can find more items to support your game in the downloads section of the Infinity website. http://www.infinitythegame.com/archive.php I found this site that can create custom sheets for markers. You can choose whatever you like and quantity to print out. http://inf-dice.ghostlords.com/markers/ http://topdownterrain.com/ NakedPanda's site for MDF terrain. 9. June 9th I'll be helping players learn the basics of the new edition and go over list building. Come on down and learn a new game!
  10. Well, I should be there sometime after 5. BigTal is going to play as well so I'll catch a ride from him.
  11. I'm not sure what time it opens up. I've never actually been to a game night so I don't know how it works there.
  12. I really dislike when stores act like this. It's happening more and more.
  13. Depends on your definition of cheap. There are quite a few hotels all very close to the event spot.
  14. I believe we are at 7 unofficially. I'll know more when the count comes from the store.
  15. What I'm planning on is playing games straight out of the operation icestorm quick start rules. We can probably go past the first mission and get into the second one. I'll need someone to bring theirs because I don't own Icestorm. I just want to give everyone the basics on how to play and we'll go over list building as well.
  16. I can show up on June 9th game night and help people learn the game. I'm running the Friday Infinity tournament at the OFCC this year. Everyone bring their stuff and we'll run through the basics and get in some demo games for everyone.
  17. It was great getting to see everyone there also! Can't wait to get some more games in. Chris, it was a fun game regardless of the dice rolling! Let's get the word out! If we can grow the Infinity community, we can start having larger tournaments, possibly even a two day event!
  18. That is correct. No Spec-Ops.
  19. I've updated the original posting with all of the information for the tournament.
  20. That is a good point. I hadn't thought about it. I'll come up with something to make it fair for everyone but not take too long.
  21. It will missions from the new ITS and you will be allowed two lists. I'm hoping to have a post up within the week that will explain everything. For now, if you read it in the new ITS, that is how it's going to be.
  22. Sorry about the bad information. The date for the Infinity event is Friday July 17th. Friday tickets for all events are tied into one ticket, "OFCC Friday Ticket". The amount is $25. Hope this clears it all up.
  23. Tickets for the Infinity event are now in the store. Please buy your tickets. If we don't get enough pre-paid tickets, the Infinity event will not happen. http://www.ordofanaticus.com/index.php?/store/
  24. I'll be running the Infinity event on that Friday. It will be 300 points and we'll be running it as an ITS event. I'm just waiting for CB to release their 2015 ITS packages and I'll put the packets together and list the missions.
