    Similar to Fingolfen nearly all of my collection is for Late war. When i started playing flames of war I did not have any mid war and most events were late war. I am sticking with US for mid war because most of my current collection can be used for both MW and LW (M10's, Armored rifles, M4 shermans, 105 howitzers.. so on and so forth). However I plan on building up a similar army for British which will be able to be used for Mid as well as Late the purpose of which will be to get my brother into the game.

    I would definitely be up for this event. Thus far I have not used the "flames of war 1939-41 and 1944-45 rulebook" yet but am interested in playing late war V4.

    With the V4 changes it may be not worth it. 155s are basically only FP +2 rather than 105's FP +3. Other than that they are the same right? I'm just curious if it will be left out of future books. Hopefully not.

    I'm currently working on a US battery of towed 105s. I plan to also get a battery of 155s but they are not in Fighting First. Is that because they were not available until later?

    Not having the fighting first I am not sure about adding other combat units from a different company as support. Does anyone know how that works?

    I agree the Half Track platoon makes no sense.. the price?? Buy 4 halftracks for $67.50 or buy 5 halftracks and an armored rifle platoon for... $67.50.

    Was also waiting for MW V4 Americans to be released. Barca this book will be acceptable for the NW Invasion tourney yes?

    I'm hoping I can get to the Saturday July 15th time and get my first version 4 game under my belt. I'm itching to see what version 4 is like on the table.

    The only force that I could bring to mid war thus far are Americans. Does anyone know when the American and Italian books are set to be released? I thought I read it was going to be in Sept. Short of that would a list converted from Forces to the 100 pts scale work?

    Hi all, I have not pre-paid/ registered but I will be registering the day of just for the FoW tourney. I'll be playing Russians Also my brother in law, Dan will also attend and will be bringing Germans. Lists will be submitted soon!

    I've pre-registered for Enfilade and sent my FOW mid war army list to pdxwar@gmail.com. Is that all there is to do for the FOW tourney? Ive never attended a con so I have no idea about online event/game signups.

    HAHA, Yes my original intention was to get some americans painted that I could use for Mid and Late war but of course my painting speed is pretty slow. So like almost any gamer I default to taking what I have painted and ready. BUT NEXT year... Next year Americans will be ready!

    Jacob Anderson IS registered for Enfilade! 2016 I'm pumped to be going to Enfilade coming up. First tourney for me outside of Salem or Portland. When will the roster be updated?

    I've never gone to a convention tournament and have never played in a tourney outside Salem or Portland so I need to go to this. Cant wait for more info.

    Zeke I think this is just the difficulty building an all comers list and operating in the meta of what people generally bring. Take the 18 pak 40 list you faced. Does great against tanks.. against arty and infantry.. not so much. maybe swap in a platoon of sherman 105s instead of the stewarts. The biggest thing for infantry is digging in and infantry saves. 105s are a good counter. Thanks Steve for hosting the tournament. Will the results be posted on WWPD rankings?
