    I've had to put my first ender 3 into retirement. 4 years of going strong. I'll retool it for test printing, but it's too unreliable for production. I replaced it with my second Ender 3 V3SE. That's my 6th Ender and my 8th FDM printer overall.

    When you compare the new models to the old ones, they don't match. They are very obviously different designs when placed side by side. I wouldn't worry about it.

    Another fine option is to find all your partial sprues with unused arms and heads, and print just the bodies. I did this for a client a while back.
