  3. Was working just fine for me yesterday, although I think I was using either chrome or a mobile version
  4. I’ll be there for Necromunda. We’re kicking off a campaign, generating territories, talking through the challenge system and the like. Maybe even playing the game!
  5. So I’d love to do Sunday to pick out campaign stuff, (territory cards, etc) and go over nitty gritty. People could play their first games that day or we could do a side scenario that isn’t for territory stakes. That being said, if you can’t make it, I’ll still show up and pull cards, and make a post with all the details, so that folks can get started this week. I’ve also got a little map project that I’m working on, and planning to unveil that day, if you need extra incentive.

Alrighty, So if we can get a sound off from @scotthartman, @Weav and @Josiah, if we're all able to get together on the same day, I'd love to draw the territories do the first round of challenges and maybe do a group scenario, time permitting. I can pull the territories by myself, and start a challenges post, if it doesn't seem like we can do it in person. Feb 2nd, 3rd or 5th all seem like likely candidates, what do ya'll think?

Leader and one champion have a web gauntlet and gravity gun. Sprint on the leader, hip shooting on the leader to maaximize early movement and positioning (I could mix this weapon load outs up for more variety, but I’d like to flex some web muscle and there isn’t a model for the web gun until forgeworld arms come out) 2nd champion with a long rifle and the infliltrate skill. He positions on deployment and hopefully just aims and shoots all game. Two gangers have autoguns and flash grenades. Flash grenades after a graviton pulse could be a really nasty combo, as the concussion from the grav gun lowers initiative, making models easier to blind. my next two gangers are kitted with silent ranged weapons: one with a pair of stub guns with gunshrouds, and one with throwing knives and a stiletto knife. Delaque should thrive at the sabatogue and sneak attack scenarios, so silent weapons seem like the fluffy choice. lastly, I’ve got a juve with a pair of autopistols as a cheap extra body. If he survives, he’ll no doubt be a valuable addition in some way... More gangers and juves, as well as some choice wargear are definitely the first goal as campaign funds roll in. Photo visors for fighting in the dark, smoke, stun and flash grenades to help with the sneaking, a grav chute for the long rifle, and some bio scanners to keep people from sneaking up on us in return. Haven’t looked at tactics cards, etc yet, but I’ll update when I do.

  14. ¡Van Saar tend to be pretty straight forward, with high BS and low WS. It mostly comes down to a question of how many toys do you want? Spamming fast shot shot as your skill, and taking plasma guns is pretty OP in a straight up fight. But if your opponents start running smoke grenades and picking ambush and zone mortalis scenarios, you’ll have to adjust your tactics. As JO pointed out, Van Saars have exclusive access to rad weapons. These have been nerfed slightly in the recent update, but it’s still a pretty slick trick. The rad cannon drops a 5” template, rad guns act like flamers, rad grenades are slightly cheaper than frag. The rad-phage ability can seriously hamper your enemies in a hurry. id recommend adding armour to them, the start with a 6+ in their armored body glove, but that is additive with flak or mesh. 15 pts for mesh gives them a 4+ save. Las guns or las carbines on your gangers make for the cheapest fire base you have access to. Skills wise, you really can’t go wrong, savant and shooting are excellent trees, and with is leadership of a 4+(On 2d6!!), inspirational could be an excellent choice on your leader to help the gang keep its cool. Of course them you’re passing up overseer or mentor... If you do kit up for close combat, your fighters are fairly average, but shock weapons and energy shields could help tip the balance and at least help you end combats quickly. those are my thoughts, mostly theoretical/based on general gameplay and not specifically Van Saar experience.

  22. Likewise! i couldn’t stop breaking dwarf armour once the game turned around. Cap it off with the 6,6 on my kick halfling? That’s a game for the record books
