  3. The sons of Russ look forward to the rout!!!
  4. I'm not familiar with actual onslaught rules, I was just that as a size reference. Same with the Malestrom objectives. Im not trying to make it more complex, rather less. Like yeah use the rules but change certain things to make it go quicker. Like yeah you gets points for objectives but the idea is who gets tabled first. We could just scrap em and play "kill em all" and that'd be cool too. The cp and stratagems idea is just so you dont use the same 1cp stratagem 10x in a turn and it doesn't really effect you. Ex. Savage strike on 4 5 units would cost me 8/16 cp instead of 4/5. More like a gentleman's game of fluff and slaughter. Like I got 1500 of just wolf units. Logan, harold, canis, twc, and doggos. The other 1500 is Bjorn, ulric, njal, bc's, gh's, wg, dredds, termis. Just 2 sorta strike force sized teams. Neither one is a legitimate list. Just sorta themed. Animals and peoples lol. If that gives you some idea of what I mean. Like yeah play by the rules but not really.
  5. So I got a 3k point list together. I had an idea for map setup where we each get a 12in box in each corner as deployment zones. I set my list up to 2x(1500pt. battle groups) 1 for each corner. 6 objectives. We each start with 19 cp + 1d6, so upto 25cp. I made a super lore fluffy list so no obligated roles. 1 warlord for each "battalion". Each "battalion" starts within each corner. Then like aos, roll off for each turn for who goes first that turn. Then with like stratagems you can use them more then once in a turn but with a cascading increase in cost. Ex. 1cp goes 1,2,4,8 or 2,4,8,16. You can use cp to reroll any roll including go first rolls and reroll multiple times if you have the cp to do so. Thats some of what I got so far. When I get home from work ill try and write everything out so that we have some sorta decisive game play workings. Lemme know what you think!!!
  6. I'm down for a 3k point game, im working on a game play style rn to try and see what would be super cool to do but not take forever. I'll try and post before tomorrow to see if you like and what changes should be made!! Also some of my models might not be fully painted since its so many points but i do have wysiwyg so idc if you dont care.
  7. It would be awesome though!!!! Do something like roll off every round like AOS for player turn, play long to long board ends, basic points for objectives, no secondaries, kill em all play style. No set list structures, like use more hqs and elites then normally allowed. Stuff like that where yeah its big and long but could be loads of "wtf" style fun!!! I've got 5k+ of wolves not including loadouts!!!!!
  8. Would anyone be interested in doing a bigger sorta Open/Matched Onslaught 40k game? I was thinking maybe 3k/3500 pts. Start with say 20-25 cp? Maybe we agree on some special rules to get an epic battle going??
