andozane
So, if I wanted to run the three branches of the Inquisition in an army, which books would best suit that need? Thanks for the input :)
WestRider
Inquisition, Imperial Agents, Grey Knights, and DeathWatch. Maybe add in Militarum Tempestus if you want, but the other four probably cover you. Inquisition isn't strictly necessary, but it does have some nice options that got dropped in Imperial Agents, and is still usable alongside IA. VonVilkee
Imperial agents covers enough of the grey knights I'd skip that codex. While their hq could have their uses you will have tons of cheaper mastery levels from the inquisitors. If going single book imperial agents is the way. I'm actually super happy with it! wildcat
I have the inquisition codex and imperial agents. Imperial angents is all you need.
andozane
So, with just Imperial Agents, I could run all 3 of the branches of the Inquisition in an army?

Running all three together really doesn't seem very thematic. They'd get along, I suppose, but the inquisition is very task focused and would unlikely have multiple inquisitors from different branches in a single cohesive. And as an aside, there are more than 3 branches of the inquisition, those are just the only 3 GW's made rules for in this edition and are the most common for this scale of gameplay Ordo Reductor is a bit larger scale than 40k, but they had presence in Epic. Don't recall the exact number of branches.

Yes with their traditional non inquisition allies. Sisters, grey knights, and death watch. Legion of the damned is in there with some other auxiliaries. Really killer codex actually, not as deep as the full codexes for the most part but really good fun options.
